Job description

Overview

SAP - Project Systems – Senior – Consulting – Location: Anywhere in Country. This role focuses on connecting business needs with SAP Project Systems technical solutions within EY's Technology Analysis practice.

Pay

Base pay range: $102,500/yr - $187,900/yr

Responsibilities

Translating complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications
Configuring and implementing SAP Project Systems solutions that align with business needs
Identifying opportunities for service expansion and contributing to sales through RFP responses
Travel regularly and lead project streams while actively engaging with clients

Skills and attributes for success

Action-oriented, able to deliver processes, solutions, and projects with impact beyond project delivery
Ability to guide and develop junior team members
Proven track record of complex problem solving and relationship management
Strong written and verbal communication, presentation, client service, and technical writing skills

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree
2 to 4 years of relevant experience with SAP ERP systems, preferably with exposure to multiple industries
At least one full implementation cycle focusing on SAP Project System with hands-on configuration in areas such as Project structure, planning, budgeting, milestones, billing, MRP
Understanding of PS integration with other SAP modules (Managerial Accounting, Financial Accounting, Material Management, Order to Cash, Plant Maintenance, Production Planning, Human Resources)
Conceptual knowledge of advanced topics (Results Analysis methods, Event-Based Revenue recognition, Resource Related billing)
Strong relationship management and problem-solving abilities
Willingness to travel to meet client needs

Ideal qualifications

Prior consulting industry experience or deep functional experience
SAP Certifications (e.g., SAP S/4HANA Project Systems)
Experience with at least one full cycle implementation of the core module
Additional SAP Finance certifications and related industry experience
Proactive professional development and adaptability to diverse environments
