Experience & Qualifications Requirements
- Minimum 10+ years of experience in SAP Production Planning (PP), including at least two end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementations in mid-to-high complexity manufacturing environments
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Manufacturing, Information Systems, or a related field
- Strong understanding of discrete and/or process manufacturing environments, applying SAP S/4HANA PP best practices and standardized production processes
- Experience delivering SAP S/4HANA PP solutions in automotive or high-volume manufacturing environments is a strong asset
- SAP S/4HANA certification preferred (e.g., SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA Production Planning).
Functional Skills Requirements
- Partner with business stakeholders to lead on-site end-to-end process workshops, document current- and future-state manufacturing processes, translate business requirements into detailed functional design specifications, and drive implementation of SAP S/4HANA PP solutions
- Prepare and execute test scenarios, including unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and support user acceptance testing (UAT) and post-implementation validation
- Provide end-to-end functional support for SAP S/4HANA PP, resolving business-critical production planning and execution issues within defined SLAs
- Experience supporting global PP templates and large-scale manufacturing rollouts, including localization, change control, and cross-plant process harmonization
- Deliver post-go-live (hypercare) support and drive continuous improvement through production process optimization and solution enhancements
- Develop comprehensive, role-based training documentation and conduct on-site training sessions to ensure effective adoption of SAP S/4HANA PP by planners, production supervisors, and plant stakeholders
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with complex stakeholders across multiple geographies
Technical Skills Requirements
- Deep hands-on knowledge of SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP), including material masters (MRP views), BOMs, routings/recipes, work centers, production versions, and production orders
- Strong SAP S/4HANA PP configuration expertise, including MRP parameters, planning strategies (MTS/MTO), lot sizing, scheduling, capacity planning, and order execution settings
- Experience with Fiori-based production planning and execution, including production order processing, confirmations, goods movements, and shop-floor execution workflows
- Experience supporting high-volume, discrete manufacturing environments, such as body shop, paint shop, assembly lines, robotics, and complex production flows
- Strong integration knowledge between SAP PP and MM (material staging, backflushing, procurement), QM (inspection integration), and FI/CO (production costing and variance analysis)
- Experience aligning production planning with capacity constraints, planned downtime, and operational dependencies
- Lead SAP S/4HANA PP master data design and governance, covering BOM structures, routings/recipes, work centers, production versions, and planning parameters, ensuring consistency and scalability across plants
Work Arrangement Requirements
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 60% per month, typically Tuesday–Thursday
- Ability to work with distributed global teams and coordinate delivery across regions and time zones
- Flexible work timings required due to remote working environment, including onshore overlap as needed

Compensation
- Compensation (All-In): $140k-$180k USD
- Placement within the range depends on role level, experience, location, and overall requirements engineering capability.
