This role involves providing best practice configuration skills and functional knowledge in SAP PM solutions to improve business processes. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience with the SAP Plant Maintenance module and a strong understanding of business requirements. • 5 years of experience implementing and supporting SAP PM module.
• In-depth knowledge of designing SAP solutions for business requirements.
• Experience with data acquisition and conversion in SAP PM.
• Structuring Technical Objects: Equipment, Functional Locations, Assemblies, BOMs, Measurement Points Classifications, Characteristics & Variant.
• Configuration: Equipment, Functional Locations, Task Lists.
• Task Lists: Equipment, Functional Location, General (incl. configurable)
• Planned Maintenance: Strategies, Packages, Maintenance Items, Plans, Scheduling.
• Orders and Notifications: All aspects incl. WO settlements.
• Catalogues: Notifications, Equipment, Functional Locations and Measurements. eCatalog (punch out catalogs) setup from Work Orders.

SAP PM Consultant - On behalf of our client in the Oil and Gas sector Procom Services is looking for one SAP PM Consultant for a long term contract position in Houston TX. The successful candidate will be a crucial member of the team and provide expertise managing activities in SAP PM.

• Support business by sharing best practice configuration skills.
• Provide functional/configuration knowledge in designing SAP PM solutions to meet business requirements/ process improvements.
• Work with business areas to understand problems and requirements with the system and recommend and develop specs to resolve them.
• Prepare detailed functional specs for development activities including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements and forms.
• Create functional specifications and technical specifications for development and test development objects.

Mandatory Skills

• 5 years of experience implementing and supporting SAP Plant Maintenance module as Functional/Configuration Specialist.
• In-depth functional and configuration knowledge with ability to design SAP solutions to meet business requirements.
• PM Elements: Data acquisition, conversion and SAP upload: Most PM objects.
