RTX is seeking a Senior ERP Manager to lead complex SAP S/4HANA ERP transformation initiatives for Aftermarket MRO. You will drive process development, tool optimization, and cross-functional alignment across IT, operations, and finance.

This role emphasizes strategic leadership, risk management, and effective stakeholder communication. The position offers remote work with up to 30% travel and is based in the United States.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience OR an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience OR in absence of a degree, 14 years of relevant experience.
• Experience leading large-scale ERP transformation projects with a focus on SAP implementation and integration.
• Experience in MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Overall) systems, including execution, tool optimization, and alignment with industry best practices.
• Experience in project and task management, risk assessment, and mitigation strategies.
• Prior experience in the Aerospace and Defense industry.
• Proven leadership skills, including team building, conflict resolution, and performance management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Project Execution and Oversight: Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and deliverable milestones for Aftermarket process development and SAP S/4HANA ERP integration.
• MRO System Transformation: Partner in the execution of Aftermarket MRO system transformation initiatives, driving alignment between technology capabilities, operational requirements and business objectivities.
• SAP S/4HANA: Utilize knowledge of SAP S/4HANA to design and implement robust solutions that optimize workflows, streamline MRO operations, and enhance business performance.
• Process Mapping and Optimization: Support the development, deployment, and adoption of MRO tools and systems, ensuring they meet functional requirements and deliver measurable value.
• Risk Management and Issue Resolution: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to MRO tool execution and SAP ERP implementations.
• Change Management: Support change management initiatives to drive successful adoption of new processes and systems within Aftermarket teams.
• Vendor and Compliance Management: Manage relationships with SAP S/4HANA vendors and consultants to ensure high-quality delivery and compliance with RTX’s regulatory, security, and data standards.
• Performance Measurement: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of SAP S/4HANA initiatives.
• Stakeholder Communication and Alignment: Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure strategic alignment and effective collaboration.

What You Will Do

As part of the Aftermarket Maintenance, Repair, & Overhaul (MRO) Plan to Sustain team, the Senior ERP Manager will lead complex ERP transformation projects aligned with RTX's business strategies, with a focus on leveraging SAP S/4HANA technology to enhance Aftermarket processes.

• MRO System Transformation: Partner in the execution of Aftermarket MRO system transformation initiatives, driving alignment between technology capabilities, operational requirements and business objectivities.
• SAP S/4HANA: Utilize knowledge of SAP S/4HANA to design and implement robust solutions that optimize workflows, streamline MRO operations, and enhance business performance.
• Process Mapping and Optimization: Support the development, deployment, and adoption of MRO tools and systems, ensuring they meet functional requirements and deliver measurable value. Support teams in understanding the tools and their effective application.
• Risk Management and Issue Resolution: Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks related to MRO tool execution and SAP ERP implementations. Resolve issues in a timely manner to prevent project delays or disruptions.
• Change Management: Support change management initiatives to drive successful adoption of new processes and systems within Aftermarket teams. Develop and deliver training materials to empower end-users and ensure a smooth transition.
• Vendor and Compliance Management: Manage relationships with SAP S/4HANA vendors and consultants to ensure high-quality delivery and compliance with RTX’s regulatory, security, and data standards.
• Performance Measurement: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of SAP S/4HANA initiatives. Provide regular reports and strategic recommendations to senior leadership based on data-driven insights.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD.

Role Type: Remote This position is currently designated as remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories). Employees who are working in Remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home). An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.
