Job summary

SAP NS2 in the United States seeks an executive leader to shape secure cloud engineering, operations, and platform enablement. You will drive the Enterprise SaaS Operating Model and enablement across teams, improving reliability and reducing incident impact while leading high-caliber SAP BASIS, Hana DBAs, and cloud engineers.

The role requires 15+ years in SaaS/cloud leadership, with deep Kubernetes and multi-cloud proficiency, and a track record of 24x7 operations and customer escalations.

Qualifications

• 15+ years executive leadership in SaaS/cloud engineering or operations.
• Experience leading DevOps, SRE, Cloud Operations, Database Operations, Release Engineering, and Support.
• Deep expertise with Kubernetes and multi-cloud platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD, GitOps, IaC, observability, DevSecOps, and platform engineering.
• Executive communication and organizational leadership skills.
• Extensive experience managing teams in a Managed Cloud Delivery environment with 24x7 operations.
• A strong understanding of SAP BASIS, HANA, Linux/Windows administration, and cloud engineering.
• You should have a proven track record of successfully handling customer escalations and delivering exceptional customer service.

Job Overview

SAP National Security Services (SAP NS2) delivers secure cloud solutions supporting the U.S. Federal Government and organizations operating in highly regulated environments. As SAP NS2 expands its SaaS portfolio, this role will shape secure cloud engineering, operations, and platform enablement by leading the Enterprise SaaS Operating Model & Engineering Enablement.

Compensation

Targeted annual combined range for this position is 244,700-553,900 USD. The actual amount to be offered will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
