Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA MM Consultant/Manager to lead end-to-end MM implementations, covering procure-to-pay, inventory management, and integration with FI/CO. The role requires deep hands-on SAP MM configuration and a track record of multi-project leadership in a consulting environment.

Travel may be required, with multiple office locations offering competitive compensation and benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of SAP MM and/or SAP S/4HANA MM experience in a consulting or client-side functional role.
• Minimum 3 full-cycle SAP MM or SAP S/4HANA MM implementations, including at least one engagement in a functional lead capacity
• Minimum of 3 years of SAP S/4HANA MM configuration, including purchasing, material master, account determination, valuation and inventory management
• Minimum of 3 years experience with SAP MM integration with FI/CO, SD (intercompany), and PP/MRP
• Experience in Life Sciences industry and/or advisory/consulting role
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

• Configure MM components: purchasing org structures, material master, source lists, and inventory management
• Design and optimize procure-to-pay flows including requisitions, POs, GR/IR, MIRO/MIR4 and FI/AP integration
• Facilitate design workshops and fit-gap sessions for process alignment and configuration decisions
• Lead SIT, UAT, and cutover planning; develop configuration workbooks and test scripts
• Mentor junior MM consultants and build client capability

You Are:

We are looking for an experienced SAP S/4HANA Materials Management (MM) Consultant/Manager to lead end-to-end implementations of SAP S/4HANA Procurement and Inventory Management across industries including Consumer Products, Manufacturing, and Life Sciences. You bring deep hands-on expertise in SAP MM configuration, a strong understanding of procure-to-pay processes, and a passion for driving supply chain efficiency through technology.

The Work:

• Lead full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA MM implementations — from blueprint and design through go-live and hypercare
• Configure SAP S/4HANA MM components: purchasing org structures, material master, purchase info records, source lists, output management, and inventory management (GR/GI, stock transfers, physical inventory)
• Design and optimize procure-to-pay (P2P) process flows including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, goods receipts, invoice verification (MIRO/MIR4), and payment integration with FI/AP
• Facilitate design workshops and fit-gap sessions to drive process alignment and configuration decisions
• Lead SIT, UAT, and cutover planning for MM workstreams; develop configuration workbooks, functional specs, and test scripts
• Mentor junior MM consultants and build client capability throughout the engagement

Travel may be required for this role. The amount of travel will vary from 0 to 100% depending on business need and client requirements

Here's What you Need:

• Minimum 5 years of SAP MM and/or SAP S/4HANA MM experience in a consulting or client-side functional role
• Minimum 3 full-cycle SAP MM or SAP S/4HANA MM implementations, from blueprint and design through go-live, including at least one engagement in a functional lead capacity
• Minimum of 3 years of experience/deep hands-on expertise in SAP S/4HANA MM configuration, including purchasing, material master, account determination, valuation, output management, and inventory management
• Minimum of 3 years experience/strong cross-functional knowledge of SAP MM integration with FI/CO, including GR/IR clearing and account determination; SD, including intercompany processes; and PP, including MRP, planned orders, and subcontracting
• Prior experience supporting the Life Sciences Industry and/or clients
• Prior experience in an Advisory or Consulting role
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (12 years) work experience (If an, Associate’s Degree with 6 years of work experience)

Bonus Points If:

• You have knowledge of SAP Business Network (formerly Ariba Network) and Supply Chain Collaboration (SCC) for supplier onboarding, order confirmations, and advanced shipping notifications
• You have a SAP certification in S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement or SAP MM

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors, which may include but are not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
