Genius Business Solutions Inc. (GBSI) is seeking an experienced SAP MM – Purchasing & Transportation Management Lead to drive adoption and stabilization of SAP MM within a project-based, Engineer-to-Order manufacturing environment.

You will coordinate readiness, testing, training, go-live support, and cross-functional issue resolution. Responsibilities span Procure-to-Pay readiness, end-to-end process ownership, and collaboration across procurement, supply chain, logistics, and finance.

Qualifications

• 14+ years of SAP or business transformation experience.

Responsibilities

• Own business adoption and readiness for SAP MM Purchasing and end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Translate global template into local roles, controls, procedures, and ways of working.
• Prepare ETO procurement scenarios covering WBS/project structures, customer-specific requirements, long-lead materials, project milestones, goods receipt, and intercompany flows.
• Partner with Accounts Payable on three-way matching, invoice blocks, payment readiness, reconciliation, and exception handling.
• Identify adoption barriers and readiness risks, coordinate corrective actions, and support key users and business champions.
• Drive readiness and adoption for transportation planning, execution, procurement, and logistics processes integrated with SAP S/4HANA.
• Lead stakeholder engagement, change-impact assessment, communications, and business readiness with global template alignment.
• Lead business UAT, including critical scenarios, test data, defect triage, retesting, and sign-off.
• Stabilization: hypercare, transition to steady-state support, and issue resolution across processes and master data.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced SAP MM – Purchasing & Transportation Management Business Adoption & Stabilization Lead with strong knowledge of SAP S/4HANA manufacturing environments, particularly project-based, Engineer-to-Order (ETO) businesses.

The lead will drive adoption and stabilization of SAP MM Purchasing and Transportation Management in a project-based, Engineer-to-Order (ETO) manufacturing environment. Working across Procurement, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, Accounts Payable, business users, IT, and SAP support teams, the role will coordinate readiness, testing, training, go-live support, issue resolution, hypercare, and transition to steady-state operations.

Key Responsibilities

Business Adoption & Process Readiness

• Own business adoption and readiness for SAP MM Purchasing and end-to-end Procure-to-Pay processes.
• Translate the global template into clear local roles, controls, procedures, and ways of working.
• Prepare ETO procurement scenarios covering WBS/project structures, customer-specific requirements, long-lead materials, project milestones, goods receipt, invoice verification, and intercompany flows.
• Partner with Accounts Payable on three-way matching, invoice blocks, payment readiness, reconciliation, and exception handling.
• Identify adoption barriers and readiness risks, coordinate corrective actions, and support a network of key users and business champions.

Transportation Management

• Drive readiness and adoption for transportation planning, execution, procurement, and logistics processes integrated with SAP S/4HANA.
• Coordinate end-to-end validation across Purchasing, Inventory, Warehouse, Manufacturing, Finance, and Accounts Payable.
• Prepare users and support procedures for go-live, rapidly triage disruptions, and convert recurring issues into sustainable improvements.

Stakeholder Engagement & Change Leadership

• Lead stakeholder engagement, change-impact assessment, communications, and business readiness while maintaining alignment with the global template.
• Facilitate decisions across Procurement, Logistics, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, SAP PS, FI/CO, Accounts Payable, IT, and support teams.
• Drive process standardization, maintain clear ownership and escalation paths, and ensure process and support documentation remains current.

Business Validation, UAT & Deployment Readiness

• Lead business UAT, including critical scenarios, test data, defect triage, retesting, and business sign-off.
• Validate end-to-end procurement, transportation, ETO project/WBS, financial, and Accounts Payable scenarios, including three-way matching and payment-impacting exceptions.
• Track readiness criteria and elevate unresolved risks affecting deployment, compliance, or business continuity.

Stabilization

• Lead hypercare, and stabilization through transition to steady-state support.
• Troubleshoot current SAP and business issues across process, master data, integration, authorization, workflow, and system areas; coordinate cross-functional resolution through closure.
• Resolve Accounts Payable issues affecting invoices and supplier payments, including PO/GR mismatches, invoice blocks, account assignments, and integration defects.
• Manage incidents, workarounds, root-cause analysis, recovery actions, stabilization reporting, and exit criteria.

Training, Communications & Adoption Measurement

• Coordinate role-based training, communications, user guides, and key-user support.
• Monitor adoption and stabilization outcomes and deliver targeted coaching or process improvements where needed.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• 14+ years of SAP or business transformation experience, including SAP S/4HANA deployment and post-go-live stabilization.
• Strong SAP MM Purchasing and Procure-to-Pay knowledge in project-based, Engineer-to-Order manufacturing.
• Working knowledge of Transportation Management, Accounts Payable integration, SAP PS, FI/CO, PP, WM/EWM, SD, and master data.
• Experience leading business readiness, change, UAT, training, cutover, hypercare, incident governance, and transition to support.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot operational issues, translate technical findings into business impacts, and coordinate cross-functional resolution.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, communication, analytical, and governance skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with global-template or greenfield S/4HANA rollouts in industrial or asset-intensive environments.
• Experience establishing key-user networks, command centers, floor support, or hypercare routines.
• Familiarity with Prosci/ADKAR, SAP Activate, or agile delivery methods is beneficial.
