Whitehall Resources are currently supporting a leading global Systems Integrator who are looking for an experienced SAP IS-OIL PRA Functional Consultant for a contract opportunity supporting a major Oil & Gas client. This specialist role covers requirements gathering, process analysis, design, configuration, testing, data validation, cutover and post-go-live support.

The ideal candidate will have strong SAP IS-OIL PRA experience, end-to-end implementation exposure, and production/revenue

Responsibilities

• Support SAP PRA implementations, enhancements and production support.
• Analyze business requirements and develop functional specs for RICEFW.
• Work across Production Accounting, Revenue Accounting, Ownership Management and Contracts & Pricing.
• Support PPA, reconciliation and financial validation.
• Lead or support SIT, UAT, defect management and end-to-end testing.
• Support data validation, cutover, go-live and hypercare activities.
• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver integrations and enhancements.
• Drive improvements across SAP PRA business processes and day-to-day issues.

SAP IS-OIL PRA Functional Consultant
6 month contract (likely to extend) | Houston, TX | C2C | Strictly No Third Parties

Whitehall Resources are currently supporting a leading global Systems Integrator who are looking for an experienced SAP IS-OIL PRA Functional Consultant for a contract opportunity supporting a major Oil & Gas client.

This is a specialist opportunity for an SAP PRA professional with strong Upstream Oil & Gas experience and a proven track record across implementation, enhancement and production support programmes.

The Role

You will work closely with business stakeholders, functional teams and technical resources to deliver SAP PRA solutions across the full project lifecycle.

The role will involve requirements gathering, business process analysis, solution design, configuration, testing, data validation, cutover and post-go-live support.

Key responsibilities include:

• Supporting SAP PRA implementations, enhancements and production support.
• Analysing business requirements and developing functional specifications for RICEFW developments.
• Working across Production Accounting, Revenue Accounting, Ownership Management and Contracts & Pricing.
• Supporting Prior Period Adjustments (PPA), reconciliation and financial validation.
• Leading or supporting SIT, UAT, defect management and end-to-end testing.
• Supporting data validation, cutover, go-live and hypercare activities.
• Working closely with technical teams to deliver and validate integrations and enhancements.
• Driving improvements across SAP PRA business processes and supporting day-to-day functional issues.

Key Skills & Experience

We are looking for candidates with:

• Strong SAP IS-OIL PRA experience.
• Proven experience within Upstream Oil & Gas.
• End-to-end SAP PRA implementation experience.
• Production and Revenue Accounting expertise.
• Ownership Management and Contracts & Pricing experience.
• Strong PPA knowledge.
• Experience with SIT, UAT and defect management.
• RICEFW experience and ability to produce functional specifications.
• Experience with data validation, reconciliation and cutover activities.
• Strong production support and enhancement experience.
• Understanding of SAP PRA integration with:
• SAP FI/CO
• Joint Venture Accounting (JVA)
• SAP MM
• SAP SD

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be an experienced SAP IS-OIL PRA consultant who has worked across both implementation and support environments and can confidently engage with business stakeholders, technical teams and project leadership.
Strong experience across SAP PRA, PPA processing, RICEFW, SIT/UAT and Upstream Oil & Gas is particularly important.
