Job summary

E-Logic, Inc. is a Senior SAP IQ Database Consultant role serving as the technical lead for the IRS Compliance Data Warehouse (CDW), a 10-petabyte enterprise data warehouse. You will mentor teams and set direction for database administration, data integration, and operations.

Responsibilities include design, implementation, governance, and overseeing SAP IQ and SAP Data Services ETL in a federal environment. Remote with occasional on-site meetings, full-time engagement.

Qualifications

• 15+ years progressively responsible experience supporting enterprise database environments.
• Extensive experience with SAP IQ products and SAP Data Services (ETL).

• Lead design, implementation, and operational support of complex database solutions.
• Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and knowledge transfer to DBA teams and developers.
• Develop and enforce technical standards, operational procedures, and governance practices.
• Administer SAP IQ databases (Simplex/Multiplex) at enterprise scale.
• Design logical/physical data models and optimize database performance.
• Oversee ETL processes using SAP Data Services.
• Provide incident response, root cause analysis, and issue resolution.
• Collaborate with Government stakeholders and multiple CDW contractors.
• Engage effectively with technical teams, management, and business stakeholders.

Position Overview

• Proven experience providing technical leadership, mentoring, and training.
• Experience developing and enforcing technical standards and governance practices.
• Extensive experience with SAP IQ products and SAP Data Services (ETL).

Certifications

• SAP IQ Database Certification (preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with U.S. Federal Government agencies.
• Experience with 10+ petabyte enterprise data warehouses.
• Experience with SAP Sybase IQ in a multiplex environment.
• Deep knowledge of Linux (RHEL) and Windows.
• Experience with SAN, remote mount points, file shares, and DAS.
• Knowledge of IRM security and compliance requirements.
