Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Senior SAP Interface SME to drive the analysis, design, and development of interfaces between SAP S/4HANA and external trading partner systems for federal ERP programs. This role favors a hybrid resource who combines deep functional knowledge of agency trading partners with hands-on technical design and development.

You will map data, define ICDs, lead end-to-end testing, troubleshoot complex interface issues, and author ICDs and mapping templates.

Qualifications

6+ years IT experience in interface/integration design and development within a federal ERP environment.
Deep understanding of external agency trading partner systems feeding into federal ERP processes.
Hands-on experience with SAP integration middleware (PO, CPI, EDI, IDocs, Web Services).
Familiarity with data formats, transmission protocols (SFTP, AS2), and security requirements.
Ability to translate legacy COBOL/flat-file interfaces into SAP S/4HANA-compatible designs.

Responsibilities

Conduct detailed analysis of legacy interfaces, data formats, and protocols; design end-to-end integration flows between SAP S/4HANA and external partners.
Perform hands-on development, configuration, and data mapping using SAP integration technologies and agency protocols.
Partner with external trading to align ICDs, schemas, and testing schedules.
Translate complex business processes into technical data requirements to ensure transactional integrity across systems.
Lead unit testing, SIT, and end-to-end testing with partners; troubleshoot interface errors and data mismatches.
Author and maintain ICDs, technical design specifications, and mapping templates.
