Belden Inc is seeking an experienced SAP Integration Architect with SAP Integration Suite/CPI expertise to join our SAP team. The role designs, develops, and manages cloud-based integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP systems, leading complex projects.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP Integration Architect with expertise on SAP Integration Suite / CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) to join our dynamic SAP team. The SAP CPI Expert will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and management of integration solutions between SAP and non-SAP systems in the cloud environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP Cloud Platform Integration tools, integration strategies, and experience in leading complex integration projects. This role offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies while contributing to the digital transformation initiatives of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and implement SAP CPI (Cloud Platform Integration) to integrate various cloud and on-premise systems.
• Develop and configure integration flows (iFlows) to integrate SAP with external systems like third-party applications, legacy systems, and non-SAP solutions.
• Troubleshoot SuccessFactors CPI Interfaces issues using ODATA API and SFAPI Audit logs; Monitored interfaces for any issues.
• Use Groovy scripting and Javscript within CPI to implement custom message transformation, data enrichment, exception handling and advanced business logic.
• Work with Odata services; creating, consuming, transforming and integrating OData endpoints into CPI flows
• Good understanding how to query and manipulate compound data sets, nested entity relationships, filters and expansions.
• Work with EDI protocols and standards (e.g., EDIFACT, X12) to implement EDI integrations within the SAP CPI environment.
• Lead integration initiatives from concept through to execution and delivery, ensuring alignment with business needs and objectives.
• Define integration architecture, best practices, and standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SAP CPI solutions, addressing performance issues and errors.
• Perform root‑cause analysis and troubleshooting of integration failures, resolving issues in a timely manner.
• Monitor and ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of the SAP CPI platform.
• Identify and recommend improvements to the integration architecture and processes.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in SAP Cloud Integration tools and technologies, integrating new functionalities as needed.
• Maintain detailed documentation of integration processes, workflows, and configurations.
• Ensure compliance with organizational standards for documentation and change management processes.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience with SAP integrations area and at least 4 years of extensive hands‑on experience with SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI)/ SAP Integration Suite, including iFlow design, integration scenarios, mapping, and monitoring.
• Experience with Integration Advisor for EDI mapping and B2B Trading Partner management. Familiarity with onboarding for new customers & vendors.
• Expertise on implementing EDI transactions(850/855/856/860/810/etc.) using CPI. Knowledge on troubleshooting IDocs in SAP systems.
• Proficiency in integration technologies such as SOAP, REST, IDoc, SFTP, and OData, FILE, RFC, Proxy, RFC, Web Services.
• Proficient in all the Palette functions; message transformation, Events, process, Routing used in CPI including good hands‑on Groovy Script
• Proficiency in graphical mapping, scripting language (Javascript, Groovy) XSLT and value mapping ensures smooth data conversion across different formats
• Knowledge of SAML, OAuth, SSL and other security mechanisms to protect data during integration processes.
• Proficient in using OData and Compound Employee API's
• Knowledge of SuccessFactors Integration center
• Deep Knowledge of SOAP Web services for SAP HCM (On premise/Cloud applications) .
• Knowledge and previous experience with SAP API Management, XML, XSLT, Java, and Groovy scripting.
• Ability to manage security artifacts, ensure the encryption and decryption of sensitive data, and handle SSH keys for secure communication between systems.
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA integration is highly preferred.
• Previous experience with integration of SAP SuccessFactors, SAP Digital Manufacturing Cloud would be preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in English is required.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP Cloud Platform Integration (CPI) certification preferred. Other certifications in SAP PI/PO, SAP S/4HANA, etc. are a plus.
• Previous experience in manufacturing industry with B2B/EDI exposure.

Applicants can expect a base compensation range of $101,400 - $152,100 plus benefits and additional incentives based on the level of the role. This is the reasonable estimate that Belden believes it might pay for this job based on applicable circumstances at the time of posting. Belden may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range as permitted by law, and commensurate with the applicant's experience, qualifications, and geographical location.
