Job summary

DXC Technology is seeking an experienced SAP IBP Consultant to lead end-to-end implementations, design planning models, and optimize supply chain processes. You will work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to translate business needs into SAP IBP solutions, including S/4HANA/ECC integrations and advanced forecasting.

The role requires strong analytical skills, communication, and a track record of successful SAP IBP deployments across multiple industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 7+ years of SAP Supply Chain Planning experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on SAP IBP implementation experience.
• Experience with at least two full SAP IBP implementations.
• Strong understanding of Demand Planning, Supply Planning, S&OP, and forecasting techniques.
• Experience integrating SAP IBP with SAP S/4HANA and ECC.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead full-life-cycle SAP IBP implementations and enhancements.
• Design and configure SAP IBP solutions across demand, supply, inventory, S&OP, and control tower.
• Develop planning models, key figures, attributes, and planning operators.
• Configure forecasting models and statistical forecasting techniques.

• Coordinate integration between SAP IBP and SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW, EWM, TM.
• Support testing, deployment, and hypercare activities.

Key Responsibilities

SAP IBP Solution Design & Implementation

• Lead full-life-cycle SAP IBP implementations and enhancements.

• Design and configure SAP IBP solutions across:

  • Demand Planning

  • Supply Planning

  • Supply & Response

  • Inventory Optimization

  • Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)

  • Control Tower

• Develop planning models, key figures, attributes, planning levels, and planning operators.

• Configure forecasting models and statistical forecasting techniques.

Business Process Consulting

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP IBP solutions.

• Facilitate workshops with business stakeholders.

• Recommend best practices for planning processes and supply chain optimization.

• Drive business process transformation initiatives.

Integration & Data Management

• Design and support integration between SAP IBP and:

  • SAP S/4HANA

  • SAP ECC

  • SAP BW

  • SAP EWM

  • SAP TM

  • External planning applications

• Support SAP CPI-DS, SDI, or CI-DS integration solutions.

• Ensure data quality, master data governance, and planning data consistency.

Testing & Deployment

• Develop functional specifications and test scenarios.

• Support unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT).

• Coordinate production deployment activities and hypercare support.

Stakeholder Management

• Collaborate with supply chain, operations, manufacturing, procurement, and sales teams.

• Present solutions and recommendations to client leadership.

• Provide status updates to project management and executive stakeholders.

Support & Continuous Improvement

• Troubleshoot system and process issues.

• Optimize planning processes and improve system performance.

• Identify opportunities to leverage AI, analytics, and advanced planning capabilities within SAP IBP.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related field.

• 7+ years of SAP Supply Chain Planning experience.

• 4+ years of hands‑on SAP IBP implementation experience.

• Experience with at least two full SAP IBP implementations.

• Strong understanding of:

  • Demand Planning

  • Supply Planning

  • Inventory Optimization

  • S&OP

  • Forecasting techniques

  • Supply chain planning processes

• Experience integrating SAP IBP with SAP S/4HANA and ECC.

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
