Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Package Consultant 3 to analyze complex payroll processes, design ERP customizations, and lead integration and data migration efforts in a US payroll context. The role emphasizes SAP HR, ABAP review, and cross-functional collaboration with development teams.

Responsibilities include architecture design, performance optimization, compliance initiatives, and training delivery to ensure smooth ERP operations and accurate payroll processing across US implementations.

Qualifications

• Experience in SAP EC Payroll and US Payroll implementations and support.
• Experience with payroll runs, PCRs, schemas, taxation, reporting.
• Hands-on experience with year-end payroll processes and data analysis.
• Understanding of SAP HR data processes and reporting.
• Ability to review ABAP codes from a functional perspective.

In the assigned Job Role of Package Consultant 3, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Analyze complex business processes to identify optimization opportunities and draft detailed requirement specifications that align with enterprise architecture standards
• Define and develop solution architecture, steering customization and integration efforts based on thorough business analysis
• Design and implement advanced customizations basis ERP platform's capabilities and limitations and develop critical software applications in collaboration with the development team
• Develop and implement complex integration workflows to connect the ERP system with external applications, while leading large-scale data migration strategies to ensure data integrity
• Implement advanced performance optimization strategies focused on scalability, reliability, and user experience, while leading compliance initiatives throughs audits, to uphold security protocols and industry standards
• Develop detailed documentation for complex ERP customizations and lead training workshops tailored to various user groups, to ensure effective knowledge transfer

Required Skill and Experience

• Experience of working in SAP EC Payroll
• Experience as Payroll Consultant with hands-on experience in US Payroll implementations and Support.
• Expertise in supporting payroll runs, creating/modifying PCRs, schemas, taxation, reporting etc.
• Hands-on experience in executing year end payroll processes, LP/SP analysis and fitment.
• In depth understanding of SAP HR data processes and reporting.
• Understand and able to review ABAP codes from functional perspective.
• Acts as the subject matter expert for the assigned domain (SAP HR – US PAYROLL) and product (SAP-HR)

Preferred Skill and Experience

• Strong Client Facing experience, great communication and presentations skills.

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
