Qualifications

• 5+ years hands-on SAP functional experience in at least one core module (FI/CO, MM, or SD).
• Experience with SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes (order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, or record-to-report).
• Ability to write functional specs for ABAP/technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze business requirements; convert them into functional specifications and SAP configuration.
• Configure and support core modules (SAP FI/CO, MM, SD — specify per module need) including integration touchpoints with ONESOURCE/tax engines where relevant.
• Lead fit-gap analysis, process mapping, and solution design workshops.
• Manage end-to-end testing cycles (unit, integration, UAT) and support cutover/go-live activities.
• Create functional documentation, training materials, and conduct user training.
• Troubleshoot production issues and drive root-cause resolution with technical (ABAP) teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Finance, Tax, IT) on process improvement initiatives.

About the Role

Requirements

Required Skills

• Experience with integration to third-party tax/compliance tools (e.g., ONESOURCE, Vertex, Avalara) is a plus
  
• SAP certification preferred

• Exposure to SAP Fiori/UI5, SAP BTP, or S/4HANA Cloud
  
• Domain knowledge in legal, tax, or financial services industries
