Job summary

QCS Staffing seeks a SAP Extended Warehouse Management Consultant for an initial 12-month contract in the US, based in Ohio. The role focuses on supporting the SAP EWM development lifecycle, coordinating with warehouse staff and business teams to ensure effective deployment of EWM processes and documentation.

The successful candidate will understand core warehouse operations, partner with stakeholders across logistics, and deliver SOPs and training materials to enable a smooth stabilization

Qualifications

• SAP EWM functional knowledge in warehouse, logistics, distribution or supply-chain environments.
• Understanding of core warehouse processes: receiving, putaway, movements, replenishment, picking, packing, shipping, inventory.
• Experience working with warehouse-floor employees, supervisors, SMEs and supply-chain stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Support SAP EWM development, testing, implementation and stabilization phases.
• Collaborate with warehouse, logistics and supply-chain users to capture requirements and close gaps.
• Write, review and maintain SAP EWM SOPs, work instructions, process flows and user guides.
• Ensure procedures reflect the configured SAP EWM solution and labor practices.

We’re supporting a major new-build facility in Ohio, a multi-billion-dollar investment designed to push the boundaries of science and engineering. We’re looking for a SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Consultant to support this project and help deliver this world-class program.

What You’ll Deliver

• Support the hiring manager and business team during the ongoing SAP EWM development, testing, implementation and stabilization phases.
• Work with warehouse, logistics and supply-chain users to understand operational processes, functional requirements, process gaps and user needs.
• Write, review and maintain SAP EWM SOPs, work instructions, process flows, user guides, training materials and functional-support documentation.
• Ensure procedures accurately reflect the configured SAP EWM solution and the way warehouse employees are expected to perform their work.

What you’ll need:

• A relevant degree in supply chain, logistics, information systems, business, engineering or operations management.
• Practical SAP EWM functional knowledge within a warehouse, logistics, distribution, manufacturing or supply-chain environment.
• Understanding of core warehouse processes, including receiving, putaway, internal movements, replenishment, picking, packing, staging, shipping and physical inventory.
• Experience working directly with warehouse-floor employees, supervisors, SMEs and supply-chain stakeholders.
