Job summary

MHP - Mieschke Hofmann und Partner Gesellschaft für Management- und IT-Beratung mbH seeks an SAP Extended Warehouse Management Solution Architect to drive design and delivery for Connected Logistics in North America. The role requires a blend of strategy, process, and IT consulting with hands-on execution and a focus on client value creation.

You will cultivate relationships, lead complex SAP WM/EWM projects, and support business development while traveling extensively to client sites.

Qualifications

• Fluent English, strong client-facing and communication skills.
• Minimum 6+ years of work experience in EWM consulting.
• 10+ years SAP WM/EWM experience including process and customizing.
• 5+ full SAP lifecycle implementations completed.
• Go-Live experience and SAP project delivery know-how.
• Willingness to travel up to 80%, up to 100% in some cases.

The Role:

The SAP Extended Warehouse Management Solution Architect is expected to perform high-quality project work for our customers, build the Connected Logistics capability in North America, and foster its continued growth within our Operations Excellence service unit. This role requires a focused and analytical mindset and will require you to work toward set objectives with a level of autonomy, live a culture of accountability, and take a hands-on approach to execution. Our customers and the value we offer is central to everything we do. This person will be required to ensure the quality of our services for our existing client base, cultivate relationships with new customers, and support new business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design for challenging projects in management-, process- and IT-consulting
• Develop innovative concepts and implement sophisticated consulting solutions in the field of Supply Chain Management
• Deploy process, quality, and cost-optimized logistics concepts
• Create long term relationships with clients
• Identify and lead business development opportunities
• Achieve strong reputation as a business advisor

Education::

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or equivalent education.

Experience:

• 6+ years of work experience in EWM consulting
• 10+ years of SAP WM/EWM (Extended / Warehouse Management) Experience (Process & Customizing)
• 5+ full SAP lifecycle implementations
• Profound SAP project and Go-Live experience (SAP implementation approach)
• Current SAP Certifications are a plus
• Fluency in English (multi-lingual preferred)
• Professional appearance with strong customer focus
• Analytical and structured working attitude
• Travel up to 80%to client sites – average 25%-50%

• This job operates in an office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, cameras, photocopiers, and filing cabinets.

• While performing the duties of this job the employee is required to talk, hear, walk, sit, stand, climb stairs on occasion with prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
