Job summary

BCforward is seeking a SAP EWM Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SAP Extended Warehouse Management, Stock Room Management, and S/4HANA rollouts and a proven ability to design and defend template-aligned solutions that meet specific business requirements across end-to-end warehouse processes.

Travel will be required; approximately 10 to 12 weeks of travel over a 6 to 9-month rollout, with long-term opportunities through 2028.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of SAP project experience with in-depth knowledge of SAP EWM/Stock Room Management.
• Strong process understanding of warehouse operations and integration with other SAP modules.
• Proficiency with IDocs for orders, ASNs, receipts, and dispatches.
• Experience in at least 2 SAP end-to-end implementations across the full life cycle.
• Experience with at least 2 SAP S/4HANA rollouts, including Fit-to-Template/Explore phases.
• Ability to provide sound S/4HANA solutions aligned to customer requirements.
• Experience with data migration using standard SAP toolsets for controlling master data and transaction objects.

Responsibilities

• Design and configure SAP EWM/Stock Room Management across organization structure, master data, and inbound, outbound, and internal processes.
• Lead Fit-to-Template and Explore workshops and act as the Template Defender to ensure solution adherence.
• Integrate warehouse processes with core SAP modules and manage IDoc-based order, ASN, receipt, and dispatch interfaces.
• Drive E2E implementation activities through design, build, testing, cutover, and hypercare.

Travel Requirements

• The project is currently planned through the end of 2028, making this a long‑term opportunity rather than a contract limited to 6 to 9 months.

Work Locations

• Locations will vary with each rollout.
• Most assignments will be within the United States, with occasional international travel opportunities.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with integration testing, cutover planning, and hypercare in S/4HANA environments.
• Familiarity with SAP Best Practices and template governance.
