STAFFXPERT is seeking an experienced SAP EWM Consultant to support warehouse execution within an SAP S/4HANA environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on SAP EWM configuration and implementation skills, and the ability to work with business stakeholders and warehouse operations teams.

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire

Contract Duration: 6 Months

Travel: Candidates must be willing to travel to one of the listed locations. Relocation is not required.

Position Overview

STAFFXPERT is seeking an experienced SAP EWM Consultant to support and enhance warehouse execution processes within an SAP S/4HANA environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on SAP EWM implementation and configuration experience, along with the ability to work directly with business stakeholders and warehouse operations teams.

This position will play a key role in warehouse process design, solution improvements, testing, documentation, stabilization, and integration across manufacturing, procurement, sales, inventory, and finance processes.

Required Industry Experience

• Large-scale discrete manufacturing experience is REQUIRED.

• Experience working in complex manufacturing or distribution environments is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities SAP EWM & Solution Design

• Configure and support SAP EWM processes including warehouse structure, queues, process types, RF menus, staging, and related integrations.

• Lead discussions with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable SAP solutions.

• Help design solutions using standard SAP functionality and provide input on enhancements when required.

• Participate in implementation and rollout activities and clearly articulate your role and contributions during SAP implementations.

• Review proposed solutions and AMS fixes for alignment with SAP best practices and long-term supportability.

Warehouse Business Processes

Support and optimize:

• Inbound receiving and putaway

• Outbound picking, packing, staging, shipping, and delivery integration

• Internal warehouse movements and replenishment

• Production staging and warehouse/manufacturing integration

• RF and mobile warehouse transactions

• Zebra scanner/device adoption

• Cycle counting and physical inventory

• Inventory accuracy and bin management

• Warehouse task and queue management

Integration

Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration between EWM and:

• SAP S/4HANA Inventory Management

• Production / Manufacturing processes

• Procurement / PTP

• Quality / QTI

• Record-to-Report / RTR

• Master Data / MDG

• Technical and integration platforms

Stabilization & Continuous Improvement

• Troubleshoot issues related to EWM configuration, queues, master data, RF transactions, warehouse tasks, and S/4HANA integration.

• Perform root-cause analysis for inventory discrepancies, receiving/shipping issues, staging problems, and stuck warehouse tasks.

• Support warehouse redesigns, scanner adoption, cycle-counting improvements, and plant rollouts.

• Identify process and system gaps and recommend improvements.

• Help develop operational reporting and dashboards to monitor warehouse transaction health and recurring issues.

Documentation & Testing

• Create and maintain functional/process documentation.

• Develop and execute test scenarios and support UAT.

• Document requirements, solutions, configuration changes, and process improvements.

• Work closely with business users during testing and implementation activities.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP EWM experience.

• Strong hands-on SAP EWM configuration experience.

• Proven SAP EWM implementation experience - this is not a purely support-focused position.

• Strong understanding of inbound, outbound, internal warehouse, inventory, staging, and RF processes.

• Required: Experience in a large-company discrete manufacturing environment.

• Experience with SAP S/4HANA and EWM integration.

• Experience troubleshooting configuration, queues, master data, RF transactions, and integration issues.

• Strong experience working directly with business stakeholders and warehouse operations.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

• Ability to lead business discussions, gather requirements, and explain SAP solutions clearly.

• Strong documentation and testing experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• SAP S/4HANA Embedded EWM experience.

• Experience with production staging and cross-order staging.

• Experience with Zebra scanners and RF Framework.

• Warehouse automation experience.

• Multi-plant or multi-warehouse implementation experience.

• SAP EWM certification.
