Job summary

New York Technology Partners seeks a SAP EWM specialist to configure, implement, and support EWM integrated with PP-PI and QM within a GMP environment. You will optimize inbound/outbound logistics, batch tracking, and material movements across manufacturing and QA/QC teams.

Responsibilities include coordinating with IT, MES, and eLIMS to ensure compliant material flow, testing deployments, and troubleshooting production issues in a GMP setting.

• Support EWM-PP process order staging, production material requests, and goods receipt for finished products.
• Support EWM-QM integration for quality inspections, quarantine, and stock movements.
• Ensure batch management, shelf-life monitoring, expiry control, and end-to-end traceability.
• Prepare specs and test scripts; conduct unit/integration/regression/UAT testing; troubleshoot issues.

Job description

Responsible for configuring, implementing, and supporting SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) integrated with SAP PP-PI (Process Industries) and QM (Quality Management) in a GMP environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Configure and support inbound/outbound deliveries, goods receipt, putaway, picking, replenishment, handling unit (HU) management, physical inventory, and warehouse-to-production material movements.
• Support EWM-PP process order staging, production material requests, component consumption, backflushing where applicable, and finished/intermediate product goods receipt.
• Support EWM-QM integration to manage quality inspection stock, quarantine and blocked materials, inspection processes, usage decisions, and quality-based stock movements.
• Ensure batch management, shelf-life monitoring, expiry control, stock segregation, and end-to‑end material traceability.
• Prepare functional specifications and test scripts; execute unit, integration, regression, and UAT testing; troubleshoot production issues and support deployments.

Collaborate with Manufacturing, QA/QC, Supply Chain, IT, MES, and eLIMS teams to ensure reliable material flow and compliant manufacturing operations.
