Job summary

CACI International Inc. is seeking an SAP EHS (Dangerous Goods) Specialist to lead DG management across SAP EHS, S/4HANA, and Fiori environments.

You will implement, configure, and support DG processes while ensuring compliance with global and federal regulations. You will collaborate with MM, SD, PP, and PM teams to align DG data with material masters and workflows, and you’ll troubleshoot integration issues in a secure federal program setting.

Qualifications

  • Active DoD Secret clearance.
  • 5+ years SAP EHS experience including 3+ in EHS Dangerous Goods.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ERP EHS-DGP.
  • Knowledge of DOT, IATA, IMDG, ADR and related DG regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle of SAP EHS DG Management (EHS‑DGP).
  • Create, maintain DG data using SAP Fiori apps (DGP1, DGPREL) in S/4HANA.
  • Configure and manage compliance using the DG app.
  • Integrate DG with MM, SD, TM for shipping and DG checks.
  • Maintain DG documents using SAPscript/phrase management.
  • Adhere to regulatory frameworks (DOT, IATA, IMDG, ADR).
  • Configure DG checks across SD order/delivery/transport.
  • Administer SAP Fiori roles/catalogs (SAP_BR_DG_SAFETY_ADVISOR, SAP_PSS_BC_DG).
  • Collaborate with MM/SD/PP/PM to integrate DG data into masters/locations.
  • Support change control and federal security requirements.
  • Troubleshoot EHS‑DGP issues (classification errors, missing data).

You’ll lead the configuration and support of SAP EHS Dangerous Goods processes, collaborate across functional teams, and ensure our organization meets critical global and federal regulatory requirements. This is a meaningful opportunity to apply your SAP expertise while supporting a high-impact mission in a secure federal program environment.Responsibilities:Lead the full lifecycle of SAP EHS Dangerous Goods Management (EHS‑DGP), including configuration, implementation, enhancements, and ongoing support.Create, maintain, and release dangerous goods data using SAP Fiori apps (DGP1, DGPREL) within SAP S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition.Configure and manage compliance requirements using the Manage Compliance Requirements – Dangerous Goods app, ensuring alignment with global regulations.Integrate SAP EHS Dangerous Goods with MM, SD, and TM for shipping processes, DG checks, and transport documentation.Maintain and update dangerous goods documents—delivery notes, packing lists, transport documents, and Tremcards—using SAPscript and phrase management.Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks including DOT, IATA, IMDG, ADR, and manage exceptions (LQ, RQ).Configure dangerous goods checks across SD order, delivery, and transport processes, including DG check symbols and indicator profiles.Administer SAP Fiori roles and catalogs such as SAP_BR_DG_SAFETY_ADVISOR and SAP_PSS_BC_DG.Collaborate with MM, SD, PP, and PM teams to integrate DG data into material masters, work centers, and functional locations.Support configuration management, change control, and federal security compliance requirements.Troubleshoot EHS‑DGP issues including classification errors, missing master data, and integration failures across SD/MM/TM.Qualifications:Required:An active DoD Secret clearance5+ years of SAP EHS experience, including at least 3 years specializing in EHS Dangerous Goods Management (EHS‑DGP).Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA or SAP ERP EHS‑DGP, including S/4HANA Cloud Private Edition and SAP Fiori apps.Strong proficiency in DG master data, dynamic classification, and EHS‑DGP basic/master data components.Experience with DG-related SAP Fiori apps (DGP1, DGPREL, EHDGM_CR_ENTRY_OIF).Understanding of DOT, IATA, IMDG, ADR, and other DG regulatory frameworks.Experience configuring DG checks in SAP SD and integrating DG processes with MM procurement and goods receipt.Familiarity with core SAP integration areas including Material Master, Classification, Engineering Change Management, Document Management, and Business Partner.Knowledge of dangerous goods document output using SAPscript and phrase management.Ability to work within federal IT security standards, including controlled or classified environments.Desired:SAP EHS or SAP S/4HANA Environment, Health & Safety certification.Experience with SAP Product Safety and Stewardship and Product Compliance business catalogs.Familiarity with SAP TM Dangerous Goods Integration for multi‑modal/cross‑border shipments.Understanding of SAP’s transition from ECC Product Safety to S/4HANA Product Compliance, including roadmap timelines through the 2031 release.Experience with Hazardous Materials Management and Risk Management EHS components.Prior experience working in federal agencies, defense contracting, or regulated government program environments.Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively in client-facing and government program settings.-What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
