Job summary

Simarn Solutions seeks an experienced SAP PCS Lead focused on SAP ECC Production Planning to optimize manufacturing processes and drive MES integrations in a high- tech environment.

The role requires hands-on PP configuration, BOMs, routings, production order execution, and close collaboration with business process owners. Aerospace & Defense familiarity is a plus, with project leadership and W2 employment.

Qualifications

• Extensive hands-on experience with SAP ECC Production Planning.
• Experience with Work Centers in SAP.
• Experience managing Bills of Materials (BoM) and Routings.
• Production Order Execution experience and shop floor management.
• Familiarity with MBoM, Routing & Shop Floor Execution best practices.
• Ability to gather requirements with business process owners.
• Configuration work, documentation, and writing functional specifications.
• A&D industry experience is a plus.
• Experience with Subcontracting and external processing.
• Kitting production orders and batch-managed goods issues/reversals.
• Availability checking and shortage reporting.
• Integration with PLM and MES systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP ECC Production Planning initiatives and optimize PP processes.
• Configure and maintain Work Centers, BoM, and Routings.
• Oversee Production Order Execution and shop floor activities.
• Apply MBoM, routings, and SAP best practices.
• Gather requirements with business process owners and document specs.
• Coordinate with PLM/MES for integrations and subcontracting.
• Support with Kitting of Production Orders and batch management.
• Handle availability checks and shortages; facilitate production planning.
• Collaborate with A&D projects and ensure compliance.
