Job summary

TEKsystems in Newtown Square, PA is seeking a Sr Staff SAP PLM/MDG expert to lead global SAP PLM and MDG initiatives in support of our Operations and Digital Transformation roadmap.

You will own requirements gathering, design, and governance for PLM and MDG, mentor a team of SMEs, and coordinate with cross-functional partners to deliver high-impact projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in process mapping, design, configuration, customizing of SAP Solutions.
• 7+ years of experience in SAP PLM & MDG implementation, part of IT team.
• Experience in SAP PLM, MDG & end-to-end business processes.
• APICS, SAP PLM, MDG, PPM certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver global SAP PLM and MDG solutions to meet business objectives.
• Manage projects in SAP PLM/MDG from inception to completion, including upgrades and new modules.
• Develop best-practice PLM/MDG solutions and evaluate trends to drive efficiency.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver Operations transformation projects on time and budget.
• Analyze requirements and design an implementation roadmap with business leaders.
• Serve as the primary SAP PLM/MDG expert for issue resolution and guidance.
• Maintain and continuously improve PLM/MDG functionalities to meet performance standards.
• Engage with operations leaders to identify AI/automation opportunities in DT roadmap.
• Collaborate with end-to-end solution verticals to ensure no business risk and on-time delivery.

A day in the life:

As the Sr Staff, SAP Product Lifecycle Management & Master Data Governance, you will lead and deliver global processes, business requirement, design, and governance in and around the space of SAP Product Lifecycle Management (PLM), Master Data Governance (MDG) and integrating with operations. Be a subject matter expert for SAP PLM, MDG space providing insight and support on global, cross-functional, or regional initiatives. Lead the initiative to establish a team of subject matter experts, gather and analyze business requirements, design, build, and implement systems, and provide hyper care support.

The impact you'll make:

• - Design, implement & oversee the global SAP PLM, MDG solutions to achieve business objectives.
• - Lead projects in SAP PLM, MDG from inception to completion, including upgrades, enhancements, and new module implementations, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget
• - Develop best practices solutions in the field of PLM & MDG. Serve as the point of contact in identifying latest trends in the field of Operations and evaluate appropriate solutions to drive efficiency.
• - Partner with cross functional teams to deliver Operations transformational projects while adhering to project timelines.
• - Analyze business requirements, prioritize based on solution cost/benefit analysis, present to department leader an successful implementation roadmap.
• - Serve as the primary point of contact for SAP -related issues in the space of PLM & MDG, providing expert guidance and support to resolve technical challenges
• - Responsible for maintenance and continuous improvement of PLM, MDG solutions by designing and implementing new functionalities to ensure they meet business requirements and performance standards.
• - Actively engage with operations leaders to identify business problems that are conducive to AI and/or automation solutions in line with Digital Transformation (DT) road map and vision
• - Partner closely with end-to-end solution verticals to understand requirements and ensure no business risk, quality and deliver the project on budget and timeline.

Who you are:

• - Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Supply Chain, Computer Science, Engineering, Management information systems (MIS) or related field.
• - More than 7 years of experience in process mapping, design, configuration, customizing of SAP Solutions
• - More than 7 years of experience in SAP PLM & MDG implementation, part of IT team
• - Computer Skills Desired: SAP, ERP, S/4 Hana, SAP PLM, MDG, PPM & Microsoft tools. Experience in implementation of SAP PLM, MDG & end to end business processes.
• - Preferred Certifications: APICS, SAP PLM, MDG, PPM
