Job summary

Tata Technologies in Columbus, GA seeks an experienced SAP expert to lead the transformation of SAP-driven manufacturing processes with emphasis on material management and planning. This is an onsite role with potential travel for non-local candidates.

You will train teams, ensure data integrity, and use SAP as the system of record for planning and reporting while coordinating with QA/Regulatory teams. Strong aviation-industry experience and excellent communication are required.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience in manufacturing engineering and MRB processes in aviation.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• Expert knowledge in SAP.
• Ability to train others with high attention to detail and organization.
• Experience with Access and/or Excel databases.

Responsibilities

• Expert SAP support to train and guide teams and drive improvements to SAP data integrity.
• Train specific team members through small group sessions and classroom-style sessions.
• Support to use SAP as true system of records for planning and reporting.
• Eliminate wall-to-wall stock and improve costs for scrap and CoP.
• Maintain current knowledge of applicable regulatory data (FAA/other agencies).
• Provide technical support and coordinate with QA and Quality Clinic teams.

Job description

:Provide SAP subject matter expertise to support SAP project where this individual will lead the transformation of the cultural application of SAP and facilitate the necessary training and controls to improve the material management and planning at the site. This is an onsite position, therefore lengthy travel will be expected if the preferred candidate does not reside local to the facility

.Essential Functions

• :Expert SAP support to provide training and guidance to CFB and assist in driving improvements to the SAP data integrit
• yTraining for specific team members including small group sessions as well as potential classroom style training sessions

• kImprove accurate costs for scrap & CoP
• yMaintains current knowledge of and complies with customer/Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)/Joint Aviation Administration (JAA) technical data as applicable to the work assigned
• .Provide technical support and maintain a strong working relationship with the QRC and Quality Clinic tea
