Job summary

IBM Consulting in Washington, DC seeks a seasoned Concur Travel & Expense specialist to lead implementations and integrations across ERP, HR, and CRM systems. You will design configurations, support security controls, and collaborate with clients to optimize travel programs.

The role requires strong analytical skills, Concur and related tools proficiency, and the ability to run design workshops and guide testing and production support. This is a full-time opportunity with IBM.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience implementing Concur Travel & Expense, including configuration of travel booking, expense, and reporting.
• Experience integrating Concur Expense with ERP/HR/CRM for seamless data flow with strong security controls.
• Experience integrating Concur Expense with apps like TripIt and ExpenseIT, plus related travel/expense apps including fraud detection and duty of care.
• Experience implementing Federal Travel Regulations (FTR) for federal agencies with audit rule considerations.
• Experience with credit card clearing processes and their implementations.
• In-depth knowledge of Federal Travel Regulation (FTR) and related industry standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; capable of leading workshops and gathering requirements.
• Certified in Concur Travel Implementation and Configuration.
• Ability to lead design workshops and design requirements gathering.
• Support Concur Travel configuration and perform system and integration testing.

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Extensive experience in Concur Travel & Expense implementation, including in-depth knowledge of Concur configuration including travel booking, expense and reporting
• Experience in integration between Concur Expense and other systems (e.g., ERP, HR, CRM) to ensure seamless data flow with strong security control.
• Experience in integration between Concur Expense and other apps (e.g., TripIt, ExpenseIT) and other travel and expense related apps including and not limited to fraud detection, risk, duty of care, SOS. etc to ensure seamless data flow with strong security control.
• Experience in Concur Expense Configuration and implementation of Federal Travel Regulations applicable to specific agencies, with limited exceptions to audit rules
• Experience in credit card clearing process and implementation
• In-depth knowledge of Federal Travel Regulation FTR
• Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
• Strong Analytical and Problem-solving skills
• Certified as Concur Travel Implementation and Configuration
• Able to lead design workshop sessions and design requirements gathering
• Support Concur Travel and Expense configuration, system and integration testing

Preferred Technical And Professional Experience

• Experience with E-Gov Travel Service (ETS) system
• Experience with GSA Travel reporting Tool
