Job summary

Lennox International in Richardson, TX is seeking a SAP Commerce Functional Lead to design and deliver digital solutions that transform the customer experience. You will collaborate with business and IT teams to capture needs, define system requirements, and oversee implementation of SAP Commerce Cloud solutions.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor's degree in a related field and 8+ years of SAP Commerce project delivery, including 3+ years leading full lifecycle implementations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• At least 8 years of SAP Commerce solution project implementation experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience leading full lifecycle SAP Commerce project implementations.
• Strong functional understanding of B2B sales processes and concepts.
• Proven experience designing end-to-end solutions that drive operational efficiencies.
• Demonstrated ability to produce functional specifications for deliverables of varying size, from small enhancements to large projects.

Responsibilities

• Solution Design and Delivery – Gather, analyze, and document requirements; design efficient SAP Commerce solutions that meet business needs and conform to standards; coordinate development efforts and perform config changes.
• Business Process Improvement – Identify bottlenecks and opportunities to improve productivity and reduce costs.
• Testing – Develop test plans, conduct unit tests, and ensure security and accessibility standards are met.
• Stakeholder Communication – Serve as liaison between business and IT; provide updates and align expectations throughout the lifecycle.
• Project Management – Define timelines and coordinate resources to deliver on time and within budget.
• Post-Implementation Support – Monitor system functionality to ensure objectives are met.

What Drives Success

As a SAP Commerce Functional Lead, you will play a key role in the design and implementation of digital solutions that transform the customer experience. You will work closely with business and technical teams to identify needs, define system requirements, and ensure successful implementation of Commerce and Self‑Service solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Design and Delivery – Collaborate with digital stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements. Use knowledge of business processes and related systems to design efficient solutions that meet business needs and conform to enterprise standards. Perform system configuration changes and coordinate development efforts.
• Business Process Improvement – Analyze business processes to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement. Define changes to IT solutions that will improve productivity, reduce operating costs, or enhance the customer experience.
• Testing – Perform unit tests, create test plans, and coordinate testing to ensure solutions meet requirements. Ensure compliance with security and accessibility standards.
• Stakeholder Communication – Act as a liaison between business and IT throughout the entire lifecycle. Provide regular updates, manage expectations, and ensure all parties are aligned and informed.
• Project Management – Define project timelines and coordinate implementation efforts to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Work with resource managers to secure required resources and facilitate demand planning and workload prioritization.
• Post‑Implementation Support – Ensure solutions meet objectives by monitoring system functionality.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field required.
• At least 8 years of SAP Commerce solution project implementation experience.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience leading full lifecycle SAP Commerce project implementations.
• Strong functional understanding of B2B sales processes and concepts.
• Proven experience designing end‑to‑end solutions that drive operational efficiencies.
• Demonstrated ability to produce functional specifications for deliverables of varying size, from small enhancements to large projects.
• Strong problem‑solving skills, strategic thinking, and proficiency at addressing complex challenges.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels, from end users to senior management.
• Working knowledge of SAP Sales and Distribution processes and data structures preferred.
• Working knowledge of middleware solutions and integration concepts a plus.
• SAP Commerce Cloud Certification a plus.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is a salaried exempt role. The starting salary range for this role and market is between $126,000 - $164,850 annually. Factors that may affect starting salary include geography/market and the skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate. Employees in this role are also eligible for an annual bonus in accordance with the terms of the Company’s applicable plan. Employees in this role are not eligible for overtime.
