Job summary

Acunor Inc. seeks an experienced SAP BRIM Functional Consultant to lead hands-on implementation across CI, FI-CA, SOM, BITs and CM data integration. You will manage end-to-end BRIM workflows from CM usage data through BIT creation to billing and FI-CA postings.

Responsibilities include translating business requirements into BRIM solutions, defining mappings, validating interfaces, and supporting SIT/UAT and production support. Strong communication with stakeholders is essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of SAP BRIM functional experience, including multiple hands-on BRIM implementations.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI).
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP FI-CA.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Subscription Order Management (SOM).
• Strong hands-on experience with Billable Items (BITs), including creation and processing.
• Experience working with usage/event data generated by SAP Convergent Mediation (CM) and integrating that data into BRIM interfaces.
• Experience defining functional mappings and transformation rules for usage/event data.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.

• Analyze CM usage/event data, its structure, attributes, and downstream processing requirements.
• Define mappings and transformations to convert CM data into BITs.
• Support end-to-end processing flow: CI, BITs, SOM, FI-CA.
• Configure and support CI processes including billable item processing, billing, and invoicing.
• Support SOM processes and integration with downstream BRIM components.
• Support FI-CA processes including account determination, postings, invoicing, payments, and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with development teams to design interfaces and BRIM integrations.
• Troubleshoot complex BRIM issues by tracing CM, BITs, CI, SOM, and FI-CA transactions.
• Perform end-to-end reconciliation to ensure correct billing and postings.
• Prepare functional specifications, interface documents, process flows, and test scenarios.
• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, production deployment, and post-production support.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate outcomes.

Job Title : SAP BRIM Functional Consultant

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP BRIM Functional Consultant with deep, hands-on implementation experience across SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI), FI-CA, Subscription Order Management (SOM), Billable Items (BITs), and SAP Convergent Mediation (CM) data integration.

This is a hands-on functional role requiring strong understanding of the complete BRIM transaction lifecycle—from upstream usage/event data generated by Convergent Mediation through data ingestion, BIT creation and processing, billing/invoicing, and downstream FI-CA financial processing.

The ideal candidate must be able to analyze CM output data, define mappings and transformations, determine how usage/event data should be converted into BITs, and troubleshoot transactions across the end-to-end BRIM landscape.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a functional SME across the SAP BRIM landscape, primarily covering CI, FI-CA, SOM, BITs, and CM integration.
• Gather and analyze business requirements and translate them into functional SAP BRIM solutions and process designs.
• Analyze usage/event data generated by SAP Convergent Mediation (CM), including its structure, attributes, business meaning, and downstream processing requirements.
• Define functional mappings and transformations required to convert incoming CM usage/event data into appropriate Billable Items (BITs).
• Support and validate the end-to-end processing flow:
• Configure and support SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI) processes, including billable item processing, billing, and invoicing.
• Support Subscription Order Management (SOM) processes and integration with downstream BRIM components.
• Support FI-CA processes including account determination, financial postings, invoicing, payments, receivables, and reconciliation.
• Partner with development and integration teams to design and implement interfaces, mappings, transformations, and BRIM integrations.
• Troubleshoot complex functional and data issues by tracing transactions across CM, BITs, CI, SOM, and FI-CA.
• Perform end-to-end reconciliation to ensure incoming usage/event data produces the expected billing, invoicing, and financial postings.
• Prepare functional specifications, interface/mapping documents, process flows, test scenarios, and other functional documentation.
• Support SIT, UAT, regression testing, defect resolution, production deployment, and post-production support.
• Collaborate directly with business stakeholders, architects, developers, integration teams, and other SAP functional teams to resolve issues and validate expected outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of SAP BRIM functional experience, including multiple hands-on BRIM implementation projects.
• Strong, multi-year hands-on experience with SAP Convergent Invoicing (CI).
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP FI-CA.
• Strong hands-on experience with SAP Subscription Order Management (SOM).
• Strong hands-on experience with Billable Items (BITs), including BIT creation, processing, mapping, and downstream billing/invoicing.
• Proven experience working with usage/event data generated by SAP Convergent Mediation (CM) and integrating that data into downstream BRIM processes.
• Strong understanding of the end-to-end BRIM flow from CM BITs CI/Billing/Invoicing FI-CA.
• Experience defining functional mappings and transformation rules for usage/event data.
• Experience writing detailed functional specifications and working closely with technical teams on interfaces and integrations.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to trace transactions and identify data or processing discrepancies across BRIM components.
• Experience with testing, reconciliation, production support, and complex BRIM issue resolution.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with technical and business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience implementing BRIM solutions for subscription-based, consumption-based, or usage-based business models.
• Experience with complex subscription products and recurring/usage-based billing scenarios.
• Experience working on large-scale enterprise SAP BRIM implementations.
