Job summary

Danta Technologies in Riverwoods, IL is seeking a SAP BODS Consultant with 5+ years of ETL experience to design, develop, test, and deploy integrated data solutions across SAP and non-SAP sources.

You will monitor production ETL jobs, support data migration, and collaborate with business teams to meet data integration requirements while maintaining documentation. Requirements include SAP ECC, S/4HANA, and SAP BW, plus strong SQL skills. SAP BODS certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with SAP BODS.
• Experience in ETL processes, data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Experience with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, and non-SAP data sources.
• Proficiency in SQL and data integration concepts.
• Experience in production support, job scheduling, monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Preferred SAP BODS certification.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL solutions using SAP BODS.
• Extract and integrate data from SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, legacy systems, flat files, databases, and third-party applications.
• Develop and optimize data transformation, validation, cleansing, and reconciliation processes.
• Support data migration and data quality initiatives.
• Monitor daily ETL jobs, workflows, and production interfaces, ensuring timely completion and data accuracy.
• Troubleshoot job failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Manage incidents, service requests, and change activities in line with operational support processes and SLAs.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver data integration requirements and enhancements.
• Maintain technical documentation and support knowledge transfer activities.

Job Summary

• Strong expertise in ETL processes, data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Experience working with SAP ECC, SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, and non-SAP data sources.
• Proficiency in SQL and data integration concepts.
• Experience in production support, job scheduling, monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Ability to independently manage operational support activities and handle critical production incidents.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• SAP BODS certification.
