Job summary

HireTech Group is seeking an experienced SAP Basis Administrator to oversee SAP landscapes, ensure high availability, and drive upgrades and migrations. You will collaborate with functional staff, developers, and infrastructure teams to support day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives.

The ideal candidate has hands-on SAP Basis experience, strong trouble-shooting skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff while maintaining secure, high-performance systems.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in SAP Basis administration and SAP system landscapes.
• Ability to mentor junior staff and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Authorized to work in the United States (Green Card holder); sponsorship not available.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems
• Perform performance tuning at the application, database, and operating system levels
• Manage background jobs, spool, batch processing, and system logs
• Monitor system health, performance, and capacity using tools such as SAP Solution Manager, CCMS, and Focused Run

You will manage system security and ensure strong performance. The ideal person will work closely with functional staff, developers, infrastructure teams, and business stakeholders to support both day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives such as upgrades and migrations. Ability to mentor junior-level staff.
