Job summary

Systems Technology Group, Inc. (STG) seeks an experienced SAP Ariba Consultant to lead the Ariba Sourcing design and integration efforts. The role requires deep functional and technical Ariba Sourcing expertise and hands-on API integration experience.

Based in Dearborn, MI, this long-term position offers direct client work and sponsorship support if needed. You will coordinate with NA client stakeholders and the India-based sourcing team to deliver upgrade-safe, scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• 8+ years on SAP Ariba, with 5+ years specifically in Ariba Sourcing (functional plus technical).
• Hands-on integration experience: Ariba APIs (Open APIs, data extracts) and CIG / SAP Integration Suite.
• Strong sourcing domain command: RFx, auctions, award, supplier management flows.
• Ability to write integration and API specifications a custom engineering team can build against.

Responsibilities

• Own Ariba Sourcing functional and technical design: sourcing projects, templates, RFx / eAuctions, approvals, and supplier lifecycle touchpoints.
• Define and document the integration touchpoints for the custom add-on: Ariba Open APIs, operational / reporting APIs, CIG / Integration Suite flows, and master data in / out.
• Advise the custom add-on boundary: customization limits, API feasibility, throttling / rate limits, and upgrade-safe patterns.
• Coordinate configuration and realm changes with the client's Ariba platform team.
• Support the test teams with Ariba test scenarios, test data, and environment questions.
• Work directly with North America based client business and IT stakeholders; act as the bridge to the India-based sourcing team.

Please note that this project assignment is with our own direct clients. We do not go through any vendors. STG only does business with direct end clients. This is expected to be a long-term position. STG will provide immigration and permanent residency sponsorship assistance to those candidates who need it.

Role Summary

Deep SAP Ariba Sourcing technical and functional expert - the design authority on the Ariba side of the hybrid solution. Defines what Ariba Sourcing delivers natively, drives its configuration, and specifies every integration touchpoint the custom front-end consumes: APIs, events, and master data.

Education Required
