Naviga Recruiting & Executive Search is seeking a visionary SAP BTP Architect to lead scalable, cloud-native solutions on SAP BTP, bridging business goals with architectural frameworks. Responsibilities

• Architect scalable, end-to-end solution blueprints on SAP BTP and multi-region deployment patterns.
• Determine optimal architectural fit for SAP BTP vs legacy integration methods.
• Lead technical workstreams and mentor teams in SAP BTP runtimes (Cloud Foundry, Kyma, ABAP Environment).
• Promote modern SAP cloud standards, microservices, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate SAP S/4HANA and ECC with third-party platforms using APIs and SAP Cloud Connector.
• Develop ABAP objects (BAPIs, BADIs, workflows) and CAPM apps.
• Design cloud-native apps using Java, Node.js, JavaScript, Python.
• Collaborate with business partners to translate strategies into specs.
• Deliver roadmaps, cost analyses, and proposals to execs.
• Manage full-lifecycle SAP cloud projects with SAP Activate or agile delivery.

What You Will Do

• Architect scalable, end-to-end solution blueprints, reference architectures, and multi-region deployment patterns on SAP BTP to drive cloud innovation and digital transformation.
• Determine optimal architectural fit for SAP BTP capabilities versus legacy or alternative integration methods, ensuring technical alignment with overall enterprise goals.
• Lead technical workstreams and mentor development engineering teams in SAP BTP runtimes, including Cloud Foundry, Kyma, and ABAP Environment.
• Promote modern SAP cloud development standards, microservices architecture, DevOps methodologies, and CI/CD automation pipelines.
• Integrate SAP S/4HANA and legacy ECC systems with third-party enterprise platforms utilizing APIs, custom middleware, and SAP Cloud Connector.
• Develop advanced ABAP objects (BAPIs, BADIs, workflows), CAPM applications, CDS views, and Fiori/UI5 interfaces.
• Design and customize cloud-native applications and extensions using Java, JavaScript, Node.js, and Python.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional business partners to translate complex operational strategies into detailed technical specifications.
• Deliver technical roadmaps, cost analyses, and architectural proposals to executive leaders and steering committees.
• Manage full-lifecycle SAP cloud projects using SAP Activate or equivalent structured agile delivery methodologies while driving continuous post-go-live optimization.

Who You Are

• 10+ years of overall IT development experience, including 3+ years of hands-on expertise designing and building solutions on SAP BTP services and capabilities.
• 5+ years of core ABAP software development experience along with strong background in S/4HANA migration, extension, or clean core principles.
• SAP Certified Professional – Solution Architect – SAP BTP certification.
• Hands-on proficiency with SAP Fiori, SAP UI5, CAPM, CDS, Node.js, and Java or JavaScript (Python experience strongly preferred).
• Proven experience leading complex SAP cloud integrations using SAP Cloud Connector, APIs, BAPIs, BADIs, and modern middleware frameworks.
• Practical knowledge of developer tooling and infrastructure including SAP BAS, Fiori Elements, Kubernetes, containerization, and microservices architecture.
• Demonstrated competency in DevOps ecosystems such as Azure DevOps, Git, Jira, Confluence, and automated CI/CD deployment workflows.
• Working understanding of multi-cloud architectures across hyperscalers (AWS, Azure, GCP).

• Relevant cloud vendor certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) or background in AI/ML BTP services are a plus.
