Job summary

Bristlecone, a leading supply chain and analytics advisor, seeks a Senior Hands-On SAP GTS Architect to design, implement, and support complex SAP GTS solutions across global trade. You will drive architecture decisions, lead end-to-end projects, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize trade processes.

The role requires deep expertise in SAP GTS, S/4HANA, SD, and TM, with a track record of successful integrations, risk management, and process optimization using SAP Signavio.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of hands-on experience in SAP GTS.
• SAP GTS certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of SAP GTS, S/4HANA, and ECC6.
• Experience in implementations, upgrades, roll-outs, and support engagements.
• Industry exposure across automotive, aerospace & defense, electronics, pharma, healthcare, and chemicals.
• Leadership skills with cross-functional team leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy SAP GTS solutions, integrated with ECC6 or S/4HANA, SAP TM, and EWM.
• Lead full lifecycle implementations from requirements gathering to go-live and post-go-live support.
• Set up SPL screening, embargo checks, and license management features.
• Implement risk management and oversee administrative tasks within GTS.
• Enable integration with third-party and legacy systems.
• Model and improve processes using SAP Signavio.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to tailor solutions to global trade needs.
• Lead development of custom RICEFW objects and manage IDOCs and BAPIs.

About the Role

We’re looking for a Senior Hands-On SAP GTS Architect to join our team and lead the design, implementation, and support of complex SAP GTS solutions. This role is ideal for someone with deep functional and technical expertise in SAP GTS, S/4HANA, SD, and TM, and a proven ability to lead global trade and compliance projects from end to end.

• Solution Architecture: Design and deploy SAP GTS solutions, integrated with ECC6 or S/4HANA, SAP TM, and EWM.
• Project Leadership: Lead full lifecycle implementations, from requirement gathering to go-live and post-go-live support.
• Compliance Configuration: Set up SPL screening, embargo checks, and license management features.
• Risk Management: Implement preference processing and oversee key administrative tasks within GTS.
• Integration Management: Enable integration with third-party and legacy systems.
• Process Optimization: Model and improve processes using tools like SAP Signavio.
• Client Engagement: Collaborate directly with business stakeholders to tailor solutions to their global trade needs.
• Technical Delivery: Lead development of custom RICEFW objects and manage IDOCs and BAPIs.

Qualifications

• Experience: 15+ years of hands-on experience in SAP GTS.
• Certifications: SAP GTS certification preferred.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of SAP GTS, S/4HANA, and ECC6.
• Project Expertise: Proven success in implementations, upgrades, roll-outs, and support engagements.
