Job summary

OpalSoft in Phoenix is seeking an experienced SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) Consultant to drive migrations from SAP BW and SAP BusinessObjects to SAC. The ideal candidate will have hands-on SAC development experience and strong knowledge of BW, BEx, and BOBJ reporting concepts.

You will design and implement SAC data models, measures, and calculations, build interactive SAC Stories and dashboards, and collaborate with stakeholders to capture reporting requirements.

Qualifications

• 7 years of experience developing SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) solutions.
• Strong design skills for SAC models, dimensions, measures, and stories.
• Experience with SAC data modeling, calculations, and report development.
• Good understanding of SAP BW, BEx Queries, and SAP BusinessObjects reporting concepts.
• Knowledge of enterprise reporting and analytics best practices.

Responsibilities

• Migrate SAP BW BEx Queries and SAP BO Dashboards/Reports to SAC.
• Translate legacy report logic, variables, KPIs into SAC equivalents.
• Design, develop, and implement SAC solutions including data models and calculations.
• Build interactive SAC Stories, Dashboards, Reports, and Analytic Apps.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into SAC solutions.
• Optimize performance and align with SAP best practices.
• Test, validate, and reconcile migrated reports for accuracy.
• Support data integration and reporting initiatives across teams.
• Prepare technical docs and transfer knowledge to teams.
• Provide post‑implementation support and enhancements for SAC.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience in SAC development and implementation, with a good understanding of SAP BW, BEx Queries, and SAP BusinessObjects reporting concepts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive the migration of existing SAP BW BEx Queries and SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) Dashboards/Reports to SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Analyze legacy reporting solutions and convert existing report logic, calculations, variables, hierarchies, and KPIs into equivalent SAC functionality while maintaining business requirements and data integrity.
• Design, develop, and implement SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) solutions, including data models, dimensions, measures, and calculations
• Build interactive SAC Stories, Dashboards, Reports, and Analytic Applications that are scalable, user-friendly, and aligned with enterprise reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and translate them into effective SAC solutions.
• Optimize report performance and ensure adherence to SAP best practices for SAC development.
• Perform testing, validation, and reconciliation of migrated reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Work with cross-functional teams to support data integration and reporting initiatives.
• Prepare technical documentation and provide knowledge transfer to business and support teams.
• Provide post‑implementation support and enhancements for SAC reporting solutions.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 7 years of experience developing solutions in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).
• Strong experience in designing SAC models, dimensions, measures, Stories, Dashboards, and Analytic Applications.
• Experience with SAC data modeling, calculations, and report development.
• Good understanding of SAP BW, BEx Queries, and SAP BusinessObjects (BOBJ) reporting concepts.
• Knowledge of enterprise reporting and analytics best practices.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of SAP BW/4HANA, SAP HANA, or SAP Datasphere.
• SAP Analytics Cloud certification is a plus.
• Experience working in an Agile delivery environment.
