Job summary

Technology Council of Central Pennsylvania seeks an analytics engineering professional to design and deliver SAP Analytics Cloud content, including dashboards, models, and planning, to support enterprise reporting.

The role collaborates with analytics leadership, business stakeholders, and data engineering to deliver scalable, governed SAC solutions with reliable data connectivity and secure reporting. Occasional onsite visits supplement mostly remote work; preference for PA-based candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Finance Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3 to 6 years of experience in analytics engineering, BI development, or enterprise reporting.
• Hands-on development experience in SAP Analytics Cloud (Stories, Models, Planning, and/or Applications).
• Strong understanding of data modeling, semantic layer concepts, SQL, and relational data fundamentals.
• Experience implementing governance and security (role-based access) in analytics platforms.
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain SAC dashboards, stories, and analytic applications.
• Develop and enhance SAC data models aligned to certified datasets and semantic standards.
• Support planning and performance management use cases (as needed).
• Implement and maintain role-based access controls and follow defined security/governance practices.
• Partner with data engineering and SAP data teams to ensure reliable data connectivity and trusted reporting.
• Optimize SAC performance, refresh strategies, and model efficiency.
• Support lifecycle activities like transports, deployments, and controlled releases.
• Document standards, best practices, and support procedures.
• Assist with troubleshooting and production support as needed.

Location: Mostly remote (preference for candidates based in PA and within driving distance of a central PA office)
Onsite expectation: Occasional onsite visits (about 1x per month)
Compensation:$120,000 to $130,000 (depending on experience)

We are partnering with a stable, mid-sized organization that is investing heavily in modernizing its enterprise analytics and reporting platforms. This role supports a centralized analytics function and focuses on building and governing reporting and planning solutions in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). You will collaborate closely with analytics leadership, business stakeholders, and data engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and well-governed SAC content.

What we are looking for
