Phlow Corporation seeks an SAP Analyst – Supply Chain to support, optimize, and ensure compliant SAP S/4HANA systems across procurement, inventory, sales, and planning. You will configure modules, map processes, and collaborate with IT, Quality, and Manufacturing to drive improvements.

The role includes user training, issue resolution, and ongoing optimization, with emphasis on regulatory compliance (cGMP, FDA, DEA) and reporting accuracy.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in information systems, supply chain, or business.
  • 2–5 years of SAP Supply Chain support experience in regulated environments.
  • Hands-on SAP S/4HANA configuration, testing, and process optimization.

Responsibilities

Job description

The SAP Analyst – Supply Chain is responsible for supporting, maintaining, and optimizing SAP S/4HANA systems to ensure efficient, compliant, and accurate supply chain operations. This role focuses on configuration, integration, and process improvement across procurement, inventory, sales, and planning workflows. The SAP Analyst collaborates with cross-functional teams including Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Quality, and IT to implement system enhancements, support user adoption, and ensure compliance with regulatory and internal requirements. This role will split time between Phlow's headquarters in Richmond, VA and our manufacturing site in Petersburg, VA.

Requirements

Configuration & Customization

  • Design, configure, and test SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain modules (MM, SD, IM, MRP) to optimize procurement, inventory, sales, and planning processes.
  • Implement system enhancements to support operational efficiency and business requirements.

Integration & Process Mapping

  • Map end-to-end supply chain workflows and integrate with other SAP modules, including FICO, for seamless data flow.
  • Ensure processes are aligned with SAPIR requirements and internal policies.

User Support & Adoption

  • Provide targeted training, troubleshooting, and hypercare support to accelerate user onboarding and reduce system errors.
  • Act as a point of contact for end-user questions, system issues, and process guidance.
  • Monitor and support system adoption to enhance operational visibility and reporting accuracy.

Optimization & Compliance

  • Perform gap analyses to identify opportunities for process improvement across procurement, inventory, and sales planning.
  • Streamline workflows to improve efficiency in areas such as demand forecasting, vendor management, and inventory control.
  • Ensure all SAP-supported processes comply with cGMP, FDA, DEA, and internal regulatory requirements.

Reporting & Analytics

  • Generate and maintain reports, dashboards, and KPIs to support decision-making and operational monitoring.
  • Analyze data trends to identify risks, inefficiencies, or opportunities for improvement.

Experience & Qualifications:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 2–5 years of experience supporting SAP Supply Chain modules (MM, SD, IM, MRP) in a regulated environment.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA configuration, testing, and process optimization.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.

Preferred

  • Experience in a cGMP pharmaceutical, biotech, or chemical environment.
  • Knowledge of 21 CFR Part 11, FDA, DEA, or other regulatory requirements for electronic systems.
  • Prior experience in SAP process integration, workflow mapping, or ERP implementation projects.

Physical Requirements

  • Constantly required to see to utilize computer screens and monitors to perform job duties including reading & writing, as well as when presenting information and communicating with others.
  • Frequently required to talk or hear to communicate with employees, candidates, vendors, and others, including presenting information in front of groups.
  • Frequently required to reach with arms and hands performing repetitive motions and using finger dexterity to work primarily at a computer keyboard and with a mouse.
  • Frequently required to sit, and occasionally required to stand or walk to move around primarily in an office environment.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
  • This position may require up to 5% travel with occasional increase in travel demands based on business needs.

The salary range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000, with the final offer determined based on factors such as the candidate's experience, qualifications, skills, and education. In addition to a competitive base salary, this position is eligible to participate in Phlow's bonus and stock option programs.
