Job summary

IDI-Distributor is seeking an SAP Analyst – Order To Cash to join the SAP Team in Minnesota. The role focuses on implementing, maintaining, and enhancing SAP business apps with emphasis on O2C processes (Sales Order, Delivery, Billing, Pricing, Credit).

You will collaborate cross-functionally to translate business needs into functional specs, configure SAP SD in S/4HANA, manage projects end-to-end, and drive process improvements and user adoption.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT/IS/CS/Business or related field.
• 4+ years designing and configuring SAP SD with strong MM/FI integration.
• Experience in multi-location, large orgs in transportation/logistics or sales.
• Demonstrated project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME on SAP SD functionality.
• Translate business requirements into functional specs.
• Configure and customize SAP SD: Sales Order, Delivery, Shipment, Pricing, Billing, Credit.
• Lead project plans, monitor progress, and communicate status.

Job description

The SAP Analyst – Order To Cash will participate in a cross-functional team environment as part of the IDI SAP Team. This position will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and enhancing SAP business applications. The primary focus of this position will be Order to Cash. Order to Cash includes Sales Order Processing, Delivery Processing, Shipment Processing, Pricing, Billing, Credit and other associated processes

Responsibilities/Duties:

• SAP S/4 HANA ERP Support:
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on SAP SD (Sales & Distribution) business functionality
  • Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional specifications
  • Configure and customize the SAP SD module to meet business needs, including:
    • Sales Order Processing
    • Delivery Processing
    • Shipment Processing
    • Pricing
    • Billing
    • Credit
  • Participate in the SAP Roadmap delivery process to ensure timely progress and appropriate project delivery and justification.
  • Support and extend the SAP S/4HANA solution at IDI to enhance business processes.
  • Identify opportunities to increase SAP adoption, utilization, and customer satisfaction.
• Leadership and Development:
  • Serve as a liaison between departments to assist in developing business requirements for projects, system modifications, enhancements, and ERP solution implementations.
  • Drive the creation and socialization of best practices, processes, and necessary artifacts to develop a Business Analysis practice suitable for IDI’s environment.
• Process Optimization and Project Management:
  • Lead ongoing reviews of business processes, maintain all process documentation, and develop optimization strategies.
  • Manage projects end-to-end, including developing project plans, monitoring progress, and communicating project status, obstacles, and resource needs.
  • Work closely with the end users and executive management to ensure solutions meet business needs, organizational goals, business priorities, and project expectations.
  • Develop and execute use cases, user acceptance test plans, and other relevant artifacts.

• Qualifications/Skills:
  • Communication and Customer Service:

  • Strong understanding of Order-to-Cash (O2C) business processes
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving SAP SD issues
  • Knowledge of related SAP modules, such as MM and FI

Education and/or Experience:

• Required Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in the field of Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related equivalent experience.
  • 4+ years’ experience of design and configuration in SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) with strong knowledge of integration points between Materials Management and Finance.
  • Experience with multi-location, mid to large-sized organizations within a transportation, logistics, or sales environment.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
• Preferred Experience:
  • SAP ABAP coding experience or ability to read and understand custom ABAP code
  • SAP OTC-related Fiori application design and support
