SAP PLM JOB DESCRIPTION

Qualifications and experience required:

• Must have worked on SAP PLM PDM PPM.
• Must have experience with industries like Pharma Manufacturing or Life science or medical related.
• Should have 9+ years of experience in PLM process definition, analysis, design and implementation.
• Extensive experience with configuration and testing of SAP PLM module.
• Strong communications skills and ability to communicate and influence at all levels.
• SAP PLM EHS S4 Experience:
  • EHS (Specification Management, etc.)
  • PLM (Recipe Development, Product Versioning, Alternate for BOM, Master Recipe, DIR, etc.)
  • ECM (Engineering Change Management)
  • DMS (Document Management System)
  • BOM (Bill of Material)
  • Classification System (Classes, Characteristics, Object Dependencies, etc.)
• Should be able to configure Engineering Record, Workflow, Global process route templates, Agent mapping for process routes, Agent determination for Process Routes, Decision activities, etc.:
  • Background activities with custom services, Easy start of the approval process, Easy task completion in the application, Rule-based template determination, Rule-based status determination.
• Should be able to configure workflow in Fiori Web UI.
• Synchronize Recipe to BOM, ECM of Recipe changes, Experimental Recipe, General Recipe, Plant Recipe and Master Recipe, Specification management: Value assignment types, classes and characteristics assignments, Phrase management, Property Tree, etc.
• Change Management through workflow, Materials, packaging specifications, components design mapping and conversion from exits, Data conversion using BODS.
• DMS config, PPM documents, integration with folders.
• In-depth knowledge of SAP PPM and Business Partner configurations.
• Should be able to work on Design document creation FS and Coordination for TS document creation with ABAP team.
• PPM reports in BW, Dashboard report and formatting.
• EHS and Specification Management.
• Troubleshoot and provide resolution to the issues reported by users, integration issues reported identified.
• Knowledge of Agile SDK, PX, Events, WSX, Client, Agile ImportExport, data loads, ACP.
• Knowledge on SAP Frontend Applications: UI5 (Fiori), NWBC, etc.
• Knowledge understanding of Third Party tools Experience: Seal Systems, xECMOpen Text, etc.
• Knowledge on configuring and designing WWI Reports.
• Knowledge of GLM (Global Label Management), Specification Management, Engineering Record, Bill of Material, Document Management, WWI Reports, Recipe Development.

Key Responsibilities

1. To oversee quality assurance processes, ensuring adherence to coding standards, implementation of best practices and performing Value creation and KM activities.
2. To ensure process improvement and compliance, and participate in technical design discussions and to review technical documents.
3. To create project plans and keep track of schedule for on time delivery as per the defined quality standards.
4. To work closely with the development team, On-site Engineers to understand technical requirements and work with them to address and resolve technical issues.
5. To identify and flag potential risks and issues that may impact project timelines or quality, develop mitigation strategies or contingency plans to address risks and provide regular project updates to key stakeholders.
