Openkrill is seeking an experienced SAP ABAP Fiori Developer to join a partner-led software team working with SAP S/4HANA, ABAP, CDS, RAP and Fiori technologies. You will implement RESTful ABAP models, build CDS views and OData services, and deliver scalable enterprise solutions in a fully remote role based on Mexico time.

Applicants must reside in Mexico, speak advanced English, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into robust technical designs.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of professional experience as an SAP ABAP Fiori Developer.
• Strong hands-on expertise in SAP ABAP and ABAP Objects, with solid experience in SAP S/4HANA development.
• Practical experience with the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).
• Strong knowledge of Core Data Services (CDS Views), OData V2/V4, and SAP Fiori Elements development.
• Good understanding of SAPUI5 and SAP Fiori architecture.
• Experience with SAP Business Application Studio (BAS) and Eclipse/ABAP Development Tools (ADT).
• Strong knowledge of Open SQL and HANA-optimized ABAP development techniques.
• Experience with SAP integration, extension, and connectivity technologies, including BAPI, BADI, Enhancements, User Exits, RFC, Proxy, IDoc, and Web Services.
• Familiarity with Git and source-code management is desirable.
• Advanced English proficiency is mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain SAP S/4HANA solutions, ensuring technical quality, reliability, and performance.
• Implement applications and services using the RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).
• Develop and manage Core Data Services (CDS) Views and OData V2/V4 services.
• Create SAP Fiori Elements applications and work with SAPUI5/Fiori architecture.
• Implement RAP Behavior Definitions and Implementations, including managed and unmanaged scenarios.
• Configure and maintain CDS UI and consumption annotations for user-friendly experiences.
• Debug applications, investigate issues, and perform performance analysis.
• Apply HANA-optimized ABAP development practices and use Open SQL for efficient DB interactions.
• Work with SAP integration technologies: BAPI, BADI, Enhancements, User Exits, RFC, Proxy, IDoc, Web Services.
• Collaborate with functional/integration teams to align deliverables with requirements.
• Follow source-code management practices; Git knowledge is a plus.

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, which manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an SAP ABAP Fiori Developer based in the United States.

Join a dynamic software development team as an experienced SAP ABAP Fiori Developer, building and enhancing enterprise applications within the SAP ecosystem. You'll work extensively with SAP S/4HANA, ABAP, Core Data Services, RAP, OData, and SAP Fiori technologies to deliver reliable, high-performing business solutions. In close collaboration with functional and integration teams, you'll translate business needs into scalable technical implementations. The role offers opportunities to solve complex development challenges, optimize application performance, and contribute to modern SAP solutions. This is a fully remote position with a Monday-to-Friday schedule, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Mexico time. Applicants must reside in Mexico and have advanced English proficiency.

Accountabilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and support SAP applications using ABAP and ABAP Objects.

• Configure and maintain CDS UI and consumption annotations to support user-friendly application experiences.
• Debug applications, investigate technical issues, and conduct performance analysis using SAP development tools.
• Apply HANA-optimized ABAP development practices and use Open SQL to build efficient database interactions.
• Work with SAP integration and enhancement technologies, including BAPI, BADI, Enhancements, User Exits, RFC, Proxy, IDoc, and Web Services.
• Collaborate closely with functional and integration teams to align development deliverables with business requirements.
• Follow appropriate source-code management practices, with Git knowledge considered an advantage.
