Job summary

Lithy Tree Technology Services India seeks a Senior SAP ABAP Developer to design and build modern, cloud-ready SAP extensions for S/4HANA using RAP, BTP, and ABAP OO patterns.

You will craft side-by-side and in-app solutions, work with CDS views, AMDPs, and Fiori UI5, and ensure robust interfaces via IDocs and OData services.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of SAP ABAP with strong OO and design patterns.
• Hands-on BTP extension development.
• Experience with RAP in managed/unmanaged scenarios.

• OData v2/v4 exposure and consumption.

Responsibilities

• Design RAP-based SAP S/4HANA extensions (managed/unmanaged scenarios).

Role Summary

We are looking for a Senior SAP ABAP Developer specializing in ABAP, SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP), and the ABAP RESTful Programming Model (RAP) to design and build modern, cloud-ready extensions on S/4HANA. The ideal candidate has strong core ABAP fundamentals combined with hands-on experience extending SAP systems via BTP, and building clean, service-based applications using RAP.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop RAP-based business applications (managed/unmanaged scenarios) for SAP S/4HANA
• Build side-by-side and in-app extensions using SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP)
• Develop using CDS views, AMDPs, and Fiori Elements/Smart Templates
• Build and maintain interfaces/integrations using IDocs and Web Services
• Expose and consume OData services (V2 & V4) via SAP NetWeaver Gateway
• Apply strong ABAP OO and design pattern principles in all custom development
• Perform performance tuning and runtime analysis using ABAP Test Cockpit and related tools
• Translate business/customer requirements into technical designs, even where user stories aren't fully detailed
• Make local architectural/design decisions and guide the team on ABAP/BTP/RAP best practices
• Collaborate with functional consultants to align extensions with S/4HANA functional areas
