Job summary

VDS Consulting Group seeks an experienced SAP ABAP Developer to join its internal SAP team in the United States. You will design, build, and maintain custom development across the SAP landscape, collaborating with functional analysts to deliver reports, interfaces, enhancements, and forms that support the business.

You will develop ABAP programs and interfaces, build integrations using IDocs, BAPIs, RFCs, and APIs, and contribute to S/4HANA conversion work while adhering to development standards

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field.
• 4+ years hands-on ABAP development experience.
• Strong skills in ABAP OO, SmartForms/Adobe Forms, user exits/BADIs and ALV reporting.
• Experience with IDocs, BAPIs and interface development.
• Solid debugging and performance-tuning skills.
• Working knowledge of at least one functional area (e.g., FI, MM, SD).

Responsibilities

• Translate functional specifications into well-structured technical designs.
• Debug and resolve production issues, and tune performance.

• Follow development standards, code reviews and transport management practices.
• Write and maintain technical documentation.

About the Role

Salary$125,000 - $140,000 base Full Benefits
