Job summary

Exploreelginarea is seeking a Sanitizer in our Compounding Department. You will clean, sanitize, and maintain production equipment and support GMP/SOP compliance while handling raw materials and maintaining documentation.

This 1st shift position runs Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with evaluation-to-hire for a candidate who can lift up to 50 lbs, follow procedures, and contribute to a safe, high-quality manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to read flow meters, scales, gauges.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving.
• Effective written and verbal communication in a team.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long shifts.
• Ability to follow SOPs and GMPs.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize tanks, pumps, valves, hoses, and other production equipment.
• Receive, weigh, document, and transfer raw materials.
• Sanitize water holding tanks, loops, and distribution systems.
• Label tanks, totes, samples, and materials and document records.
• Maintain housekeeping and report safety/quality concerns.

Summary:
The Sanitizer is responsible for cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining production equipment and systems within the Compounding Department. This role supports production operations by handling raw materials, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize tanks, pumps, valves, hoses, and other production equipment used in manufacturing processes.
• Receive, weigh, document, and transfer raw materials and components between warehouse and production areas.
• Sanitize water holding tanks, loops, and distribution systems while adhering to SOP and GMP requirements.
• Label tanks, totes, samples, and materials accurately and complete all required paperwork and production records.
• Maintain housekeeping standards throughout the batching area and communicate safety, quality, or operational concerns to management.

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret flow meters, scales, pressure gauges, and temperature instruments.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Good math skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., work in varying temperatures, and stand, walk, bend, climb, and stoop throughout the shift.
