Job summary

WestRock Coffee seeks a Sanitation Technologist I to clean equipment and facilities, prepare and batch cleaning chemicals, and manage sanitation programs with proper documentation. You will work with the Sanitation Supervisor to uphold SQF Level 3 cleanliness and plant safety.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year in manufacturing, plus strong communication, leadership, and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure sanitation programs and documentation meet policy and guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of production facility and equipment.
• Operate cleaning tools like floor scrubbers, mops, and foaming equipment.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning chemicals and notify supervisors when low.
• Complete Master Sanitation Schedules (MSS) and related records for audits.
• Perform minor preventive maintenance on sanitation equipment.
• Label all cleaning equipment and keep records up to date.
• Report food safety/sanitation issues to supervisors and QA.
• Collaborate with teammates from other departments to ensure compliance.
