Pilgrim’s is seeking a dedicated sanitation team member to clean and sanitize equipment, production areas, and facilities in Marshville, NC. The role supports strict USDA and company sanitation standards with safety as a priority.

Responsibilities include applying chemicals, inspecting cleanliness, and maintaining an organized work area. Benefits begin after 60 days, with opportunities for growth, and a base hourly rate of $21.81 plus a $2.00 shift differential for 3rd shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Poultry, food industry, or manufacturing experience is a plus.
• Ability to multitask and work quickly in a fast-paced environment, good communication, clear instruction comprehension, strong attention to detail, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment, tools, and work areas according to USDA, food safety, and company standards.
• Prepare, mix, and apply cleaning chemicals following PPE and safety requirements.
• Inspect equipment and areas after sanitation and report issues or hazards.
• Maintain an organized, safe work environment by removing debris and storing tools and chemicals properly.
• Collaborate with team members to complete sanitation tasks efficiently and support safety.
