Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain in Ogden, UT is seeking a 1st shift Sanitation Worker. The role involves operating cleaning equipment, following sanitation schedules, and maintaining a clean, safe warehouse and office environment. You will report safety concerns and assist with seasonal cleaning tasks.

Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and prior sanitation or janitorial experience is preferred. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with competitive hourly pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• Required reading, writing and understanding of English to perform duties safely.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; sanitation/janitorial experience preferred.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures and policies.

Responsibilities

• Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently according to standards.
• Follow sanitation schedules, logs and procedures.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and communicate restock needs.
• Keep floors and work areas clean and professional in appearance.
• Report damaged equipment and safety or sanitation concerns to management.
• Assist with seasonal cleaning tasks and other duties as assigned.
