Job summary

WP Rawl in Pelion, SC is seeking a Sanitation Technician to maintain a clean, safe production area and support food safety programs. You will handle water and sanitation chemicals in cold, wet environments while helping the production team stay compliant.

Pay starts at $15.68 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential and a $50 attendance bonus per week. Schedule is 4 PM–12 AM; WP Rawl offers full benefits and growth within a family-focused, stable company.

Responsibilities

• Perform heavy manual labor continuously.
• Work with sanitation chemicals and water in cold and wet environments (≤ 40°F).
• Follow proper safety (PPE), food safety, and GMP standards.
• Tear down, sanitize, and reassemble food processing equipment.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state sanitation laws and company standards.
• Perform equipment and tool inspections.
• Work from heights utilizing ladders and aerial lifting equipment.
• Operate industrial equipment such as floor scrubbers and pressure washers.
• Maintain accurate and legible documentation.
• Assist in production, maintenance, and light mechanical tasks as needed.
• Work as part of a team and communicate effectively.

Your Role: Sanitation Technician

As a Sanitation Technician, you will be responsible for the sanitation of equipment while following food safety and sanitation protocols. This position requires working with water and sanitation chemicals in cold and wet environments. You will be a key player in maintaining a safe and clean working environment for our production team.
