Job summary

Eaze in Florida is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Technician to maintain cleanliness and sanitary standards across the facility. You will perform routine cleaning, deep cleaning of equipment and rooms, handle cleaning chemicals, and document cleaning records in line with GMP.

The role requires attention to safety, ability to work in various environments, physical tasks such as standing and lifting, and the flexibility to support extended hours.

Qualifications

• Ability to wear PPE (Hairnet, Beard net, Gloves, Lab coat, etc.) and adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Ability to follow safety procedures.
• Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25lbs.
• Regularly stand, walk, use hands or fingers, handle/feel/reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, and hear.

Responsibilities

• Clean, maintain, and upkeep equipment, utensils, tools, and dishes.
• Routine daily cleaning and housekeeping such as sweeping, mopping, sanitizing, trash removal and bag replacements.
• Deep clean of rooms, stations, and equipment.
• Utilize chemicals with the proper dilution for cleaning and sanitizing tasks.
• Document and maintain proper cleaning records.
• Maintain exterior and interior of facility including parking lots, entryways, loading docks, halls, lunchrooms, and processing rooms.
• Handle emergency and upkeep requests.
• Utilize sanitation machines and equipment to maintain facility cleanliness.
• Stock and maintain PPE stations.
• Other duties as directed by management.

What the role is about:

We are seeking a dedicated Sanitation Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout our facility. This position requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols and GMP, and the ability to work efficiently in various environments. Duties include routine cleaning tasks, deep cleaning of equipment and rooms, handling of cleaning chemicals, documentation of cleaning records, and responding to maintenance requests. The role may involve exposure to cleaning chemicals, moderate heat, humidity, and moderate background noise. Candidates must be comfortable with physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, and bending. Previous experience in sanitation or a related field is preferred but not required. • Frequently works in rooms with bright light where eye protection is required
• Frequently works in rooms with moderate heat and humidity
• The person in this position is constantly exposed to moderate background noise due to environmental systems, equipment, and fans
• Other duties and responsibilities as required
