CHS Inc. is seeking a Sanitation Technician for our ready-to-eat sunflower processing facility in Fargo, ND. The role oversees the sanitation program and performs daily sanitation tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication, attention to detail, and a continuous improvement mindset are essential. Minimum qualifications include 1+ years in Operations/Business Operations and a High School diploma or GED. Forklift certification and agriculture experience are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Be a safety champion and support food safety initiatives.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times.
• Overtime may be required.

We are looking for a **Sanitation Technician** in our ready-to-eat sunflower processing facility in **Fargo, ND.** The Sanitation Technician is responsible for overseeing development and execution of the facility sanitation program, as well as performing essential daily sanitation tasks. Schedule: Sunday-Thursday, 1st shift Apply today and become a part of our global impact! **Responsibilities** * Perform routine cleaning required by the master sanitation schedule in production areas and non-production areas, including but not limited to drains, floors, walls, ceilings, carts, brooms, dustpans, dock plates, etc.* Execute non-routine cleaning and sanitation activities as needed to resolve environmental incidents and water intrusions* Document completion of routine and non-routine cleaning* Assist with production line equipment cleaning and sanitation as needed* Perform testing of chemicals from the chemical dilution system as needed* Give feedback on sanitation standard operating procedures and other sanitation documentation to improve overall sanitation results* Be a safety champion and support food safety, physical safety and customer safety initiatives* Participate in training opportunities to further sanitation and food safety knowledge* Maintain a clean and safe work area at all times* Perform other duties as assigned* Ability to work overtime if needed **Minimum Qualifications (required)** * Must meet minimum age requirement* 1+ years of experience in Operations and/or Business Operations **Additional Qualifications** * Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business demands* High School diploma or GED preferred* Agriculture experience preferred* Forklift certiification preferred* Food manufacturing experience preferred* Pre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position.
