In this leadership role, you'll drive the facility's sanitation and pest control programs by developing, implementing, validating, and continuously improving the policies, procedures, and practices that keep our operation running at the highest standards. You'll lead and develop sanitation team members, partner closely with Production, Engineering, Maintenance, Quality Assurance, Human Resources, and other plant functions, and play a critical role in supporting overall plant efficiency. Success in this position requires staying ahead of evolving sanitation, safety, environmental, regulatory, customer, and audit requirements while ensuring programs remain effective, compliant, and audit-ready.
Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university preferred but not required.
3+ years of training or experience in sanitation in a manufacturing environment.
Good understanding of the requirement of an effective sanitation and pest control programs as defined by company expectations or outlined in the standards established in third party auditing criteria. Ability to read, interpret and apply pertinent USDA, Federal and State sanitation regulations. Knowledge or ability to learn and offer good sanitary design recommendations to entire operations group. Good understanding of all pertinent HAZCOM and OSHA requirements and participates in appropriate continuing education training programs to maintain a thorough understanding of all associated regulatory standards and applications.
