Job summary

Jobot in Boardman, OR is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor for our food production facilities. You will develop and manage comprehensive sanitation programs, supervise the sanitation team, and ensure MSS, GFSI, HACCP, and SQF compliance to keep facilities clean and safe.

The ideal candidate has at least 2 years in sanitation, strong leadership, and the ability to drive continuous improvement while coordinating with other departments to avoid production disruption.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sanitation within food production or manufacturing.
• Proven experience implementing and managing chemical sanitation programs, Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS), Audit MSS, cleaning systems procedures, Sanitation, GFSI, HACCP, and SQF.
• Strong knowledge of sanitation regulations in the food production industry.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and drive for continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to train and motivate staff.
• Physically able to lift heavy items and work in a fast-paced environment.
• A degree in a relevant field is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive sanitation programs, including chemical sanitation safety programs and sanitation SME.
• Generate, maintain, and audit Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) to ensure all areas of the facility are cleaned and sanitized as per the set schedule.
• Oversee the cleaning systems procedures, ensuring they are efficient, effective, and compliant with industry standards.
• Act as the sanitation subject matter expert (SME), providing guidance and training to the sanitation team and other staff as needed.
• Ensure the facility's adherence to Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Food (SQF) standards.
• Continually assess sanitation processes and procedures, driving continuous improvement and efficiency while maintaining the highest levels of safety and cleanliness.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure sanitation procedures do not interrupt production schedules.
• Manage and motivate the sanitation team, ensuring they are trained, competent, and performing their duties to the highest standards.
