Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications preferred.
• Sanitation, food production, or supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to lead independently and work effectively with a team.
• Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand SOPs, chemical instructions, and cleaning procedures.
• Basic math skills, including chemical measurements and percentages.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Ability to lift 25+ pounds and work in temperatures of 32-36°F.
• Flexible to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

• Lead sanitation staff and maintain clean, organized, and sanitized production areas.
• Ensure equipment and facilities meet food safety and quality standards.
• Verify and document tasks according to the Master Sanitation Schedule and SOPs.
• Monitor and correct sanitation deficiencies and support process improvements.
• Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals, PPE, and safety procedures.
• Communicate sanitation standards and expectations to team members.
• Participate in daily department meetings and support team performance.
• Monitor equipment handling to help reduce damage and repair costs.
• Complete and verify required sanitation documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
