Job summary

Atlanta Cheesecake Company is seeking a Sanitation Supervisor responsible for cleaning the entire campus and facility, including offices and the production area, in Smyrna, GA. The role oversees sanitation teams, maintains records, and supports audits to ensure GMP compliance.

The schedule is Monday–Friday, nights with some Saturdays, and includes managing budgets for chemicals and supplies. This position requires leadership through weekend support and a strong commitment to food safety

Qualifications

• Experience in a QA or sanitation role in a food manufacturing environment.
• Experience in a supervisory or team-leader role.
• Knowledge of sanitation, chemical safety, FDA, GMP, and HACCP.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the sanitation team to clean production areas and equipment on schedule.
• Train staff on sanitation procedures, SSOPs, GMPs, and safety standards.
• Monitor performance and attendance, providing coaching when needed.
• Ensure safe handling and storage of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Inspect sanitation activities and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with production and other departments to address sanitation concerns.
• Support GFSI/SQF audits and assist with corrective actions.
• Maintain sanitation records, inspection reports, and KPI data.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Contribute to a clean, safe, compliant manufacturing environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Opportunity Overview:

Dessert Holdings is looking for a Sanitation Supervisorwith responsibility for the cleaning of the entire campus and facility, including office space and production area in our Smyrna, Georgia facility.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for cleaning and maintaining of the entire campus and facility such has the office area,
production floor, and outside grounds to ensure the plant is kept clean. Additionally, this position supports plantwide leadership
support over the weekends and will maintain their own budget, including purchasing of chemicals, sanitation and operations
supplies.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday, 9:30 PM–6:00 AM, with occasional Saturdays. Start and end times may vary based on business needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Lead and support the sanitation team to ensure production areas and equipment are cleaned and sanitized properly and on schedule.

• Train team members on sanitation procedures, SSOPs, GMPs, and safety standards.

• Monitor employee performance and attendance, providing coaching and feedback when needed.

• Ensure cleaning chemicals and supplies are handled, stored, and used safely.

• Inspect sanitation activities and identify areas that need improvement or corrective action.

• Work closely with production and other departments to quickly address sanitation concerns.

• Support GFSI/SQF audits and help complete corrective actions when needed.

• Maintain accurate sanitation records, inspection reports, KPIs, and required audit documentation.

• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and equipment.

• Help maintain a clean, safe, and compliant manufacturing environment.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
